It is pretty well settled that LE can do just about anything it wants up to and including FS with a provider in order to establish a case and make an arrest.  Whether the particular police dept or locality allows their boys in blue to do this is another question, but that would only involve interdepartmental affairs; you'd still be in the pokey for getting poked.

As for the use of your home versus a hotel, there are definate instances of people having their possessions taken from them if these items are involved in a crime.  The most common is when LE takes away the car of a john who was soliciting sex.  Whether this would apply to a home is another matter, but if there is any possibility of that, I would stick to hotels and not risk it.

You are wise to screen very carefully in Florida.  I hear from people down there that it is a very strict state with regard to the hobby.

LE can break the law in order to get evidence. Having sex is "out of policy" in many cities but its up to the County Attorney if wants to prosecute and expose the actions of LE to the public.

Local PD in certain cities monitor certain boards - in Phx when doing stings have had piles of pictures from websites in squads and has complied reviews from .. certain sites.   And of course GFE means bust for solicitation with no other contact in some cities such as Phoenix.

In a residential incall can be zoning law concerns etc.  In Hotels many hotels want to discourage and help police do busts or notify if specious activity.

We need to fight for law changes vs just trying to get upset with the real risks and often felony convictions if associated with a "criminal enterprise" as in recent Escorts.com national case and the many in Phoenix.

Florida not only prohibits offers of prostitution and acts of prostitution as do most states but also provides:

"It is unlawful: (a) To own, establish, maintain, or operate any place, structure, building, or conveyance for the purpose of lewdness, assignation, or prostitution"

      So if you get caught in the act in your condo, that is three separate violations of the statute. Now look at the penalties. First  and second offenses are misdemeanors, but look at the third violation:

"(c) A felony of the third degree for a third or subsequent violation,"


     See the problem? As to your first question, that is more complicated but I will say that none of the posts I've read are accurate. Vice is very much constrained in what they can do without violating the law themselves, violating the policies of every vice squad in metro areas, and if they actually go thru with the sex they  create a due process defense for the lady - they can't actually have sex with you to get you in violation of the law without raising the issue of whether this violates your due process rights.

   And no, the police as a general proposition cannot "break the law to get evidence" - if they do, the evidence gets thrown out. I think I know what the poster was trying to say here but that was not it.

They even posted a arrest of an Indie girl on YouTube... MOFO's.. If we have good lawyer's on retainer's and fight the charges then they will straighten up their act,,,if not. You get the "jest" in the state of Florida, the local cops in Central florida use to do stings in strip clubs in the 1980's-1990's and tip off local media. Leud and Lacivious bull shit charges..just for touching your nipples amongst other things to shame exotic dancer's. Tell you what; when you find a state that has no racism or crooked cops, why don't you move there?

My views on LE is that they are needed in society to keep order and hendar violent crimes from happening. Not to mention that they keep us safe from harm or offer assistance. My only issue is with how VICE operates and the offenses they use to inflict mental pain. Take for example when they sting strip clubs,escort agencies,massage parlors,bikini bars{burlesque venues) and independent call girls. If they would attempt to treat some of us with respect then most of us would or may offer in return? LOL. When they arrest an indy girl they treat her like she's the worse of the 'Worst". If the sex business is really an eye sore on western society then why don't they request thru the attorney general's office and congress. To shut down strip joints,webcams,1-900 lines,porn films,escort agencies,swinger's clubs,nude beaches,etc. Not a chance in hell..............! We all have different views,religious beliefs but I will be dammed if a male pig will tell me that my discreet affairs should be criminalized!!
