..any African American ladies available?  I am sure your reply would have been very different.

Each and everyone of us have preferences, and I have no doubt that you do too!

Sad; very sad.  I'll chalk your comment up to having a bad day.

Hugs,
Kell

What's sad is you can't distinguish a little sassy humor for real racism.  And if you can't see the possibility of some implicit racism in the OP then, well, you may be a Beauty but the Brains part?  Not so much.
Have a wonderful evening! *teehee*
Oh, and I'll pass on the faux hug if you don't mind.

Whether you meant it to be or not, that is how I took it as well.

Just because you may be AA, it does not give you free reign to use derogatory language or imply derogatory things.

Just remember a few rules when posting:

1) just because you think it's funny, others may not so choose your words carefully.

2) use "LOL", "LMAO", etc. along with a "just kidding" if you have any doubt.

3) racist remarks are a definite fire starter so just be extra careful.

People are, in my opinion, a bit over sensitive on the topic of race / discrimination so even joking about it is a dangerous thing. While some may not take offense, many others will.

Next time, consider your audience and think about how they'll take what you posted....I would bet you'll find yourself not posting things like that anywhere near as much

Tried to post a bit from "Blazing Saddles" and this stupid porn popped up.  This is what I meant to post.
The movie was before my time but my Dad turned me on to it.  The black sherif was played by Cleavon Little.

PS:  When you post an EOM put it in the subject line so we don't have open your message when nothing's there but EOM.  Dummy.

So I fail to see what the big deal is. There is an ISO Indie Asian providers thread above this thread, and I don't see anyone complaining. Are all non-Asian providers supposed to cry racism (reverse racism against white providers, LOL)? The OP is attracted to Caucasian women and I am attracted to busty blondes. It's just a preference. That is all.

Who ask you to open my message?
I do not even know why you are being part if this conversation in the first place. You have not hurt my feelings - comments from people like you have no value to me.  Of course I found a nice white blode "lady" - she is polite and  educated. I don't see why I don't have the right to stick to my own people

Your confrontational posting style might not be the best way to drum up business. Continuing to argue in defense of an ill conceived post just provides evidence that you are a thin skinned girl lacking in class and confidence.

ill or not ill, that's reality. We avoid certain people because of their attitude not because of how they look.
We choose who to see and who not to unless it was for free eom.....

As I understand it your post was in specific to your preference. Cool.
MMM came along with a not so tasteful (albeit pretty funny) joke reply.
Argue argue blah blah blah…

"the right to STICK TO MY OWN PEOPLE"…
IMO that statement is ten times worse than her bad joke response.

Where have I heard that before?
It is indeed your prerogative to "stick to your own people",
Just like it's mine to say that makes you sound like horribly racist. and a step behind in our collective evolution.

You have the right, she had the right I have the right…doesn't always make it right.

I agree we all see who we want, that's why I didn't respond to you but rather to a provider who seems to be lacking a bit of class. Now take a little chill pill and relax.

Of course she had a this very small role but this was her second opportunity in the movies.  Aunt Almeida left Chicago and went to LA to try to make it in the movies.  She never made it big but we have these as memories of her attempt.  When she came back to Chicago she opened a night club called Blazing Saddles.

Aunt Almeida is the lady on the stage coach with the then young child star, just before his breakout, Rodney Allen Rippy.  She appears half way through this clip with the Indian Chief.

RIP "Aunty" who passed two years ago.
