Are you looking for another DUD session?

I just move on. Fortunately for me I have only had a couple of DUD sessions

I have repeated a couple of times in the past because I mistakenly thought it might have been my fault.  The women had great reviews or in one case, I had a great time once and then the second meeting was a dud, so I tried a third because again, I though it might have been me.  Big mistake, but a great lesson.

Bottom line, I will never repeat a bad session again having been schooled.  Even if it was my fault, I will never try a do-over with someone who turned out to be a bad connection.  There are too many great women out there to waste time on someone you didn't click with.

a waste of time.

Do most guys feel the physical act/release  is necessary because they're paying for it?

I find it difficult on a first meeting to enjoy my time with a lady if it's obvious she is going through the motions.  I honestly would rather just chill and maybe just get a massage/happy ending than follow through with the act. I don't know if escorts feel they owe you a "pop" and would get offended if you didn't want sex.

Was it something she said or didn’t do to make you disinterested?

a lady I see regularly started out on bad note. She seemed indifferent and it affected my initial impression.

3 years and many visits later she is my favorite

Not sure what you're actually asking to be honest. You've pretty much gotten the advice side of things.

apparently willing/tempted to go back to this 'DUD' because it worked for you once before, so go ahead.  Not sure why you asked the question since you seemed to already have the answer!

I would consider a second session if she's hot and I feel that she has potential.

to find an exact answer.

it was only one example. sometimes you know right away, sometimes you don't.

I never said I was going back. but you apparently read it.

Typically, duds have nothing to do with sex acts.  It's more the personality, or lack there of, of the provider and/or the client.

I met a gal who was obviously not in a great state to see me. She seemed just a little jumpy and skittish. Her room was a bit of a mess and she took great offence at some comment I made about her not having shaven her bare kitty.

For whatever reason, I decided to see her again. She was a LOT better the second time - and thrilled that I wanted to see her again. She was fucking awesome the third time. And the fourth, well... let's just put it this way, I still see her and can even smell her when I jerk off.

So, it does get better. But there has to be some potential there. Definitely wouldn't repeat if there's zero chemistry the first time around

about looking at an ad and reading her profile and then seeing the real thing.

when i tried online dating  I thought ladies with similar interests would be better matches. they usually were not.

People make judgements about others all of the time (and they could be wrong). It's just that in this hobby it's just as easy to move to the next instead of trying again.

need more time than we do. of course they can do the physical act without feeling anything but there is NO doubt they get better with more time spent and comfort level.

She was smoking hot, and the chemistry was off, or it felt like she wasn't fully relaxed with me.

Going again isn't going to increase your attraction to her, her rules aren't going to drastically change, and her technique probably isn't going to get drastically better, but chemistry and nervousness or comfortability can get better. No guarantee that they will, but they can.
