These past days I been in Old Town and Old Town waterfront, morning run at the Huntley Meadows Park or the Fort Hunt Park. I'm not into bars or party. I have been in couple yoga studios in that area.

It has been turned into an art gallery. Then take the water taxi across to National Harbor. The Gaylord National and ferris wheel are cool. Shops and food and the future casino will be there.

On NE corner of King and Fairfax Streets there is an Alexandria info center that offers guided walking tours of Old Town.  Since Halloween is just around the corner, I believe they are offering haunted walking tours of Old Town.  Ahhh! Too spooky for me too :o)  You can also do self guided tour of Old Town.  Please see attached link for self guided tours.

Worth the 5 bucks just for the elevator ride up and the view at the top! Also the elevator itself is very unusual. I geek out over stuff like that :)

I did the ghost tour and it was awesome. Highly recommend.

My favorite stores are The Christmas Attic, The Hour Cocktail Collection, and Decorium.

My favorite bar is downstairs at the Flying Fish on King St.
