I feel prevention is the best as sharp hairs several days after shaving can easily go into the skin in pressed areas like inner thighs and belt area. Belt area can be painful for an ingrown.

My best prevention is to wash ya crotch multiple times per day so the hairs can lift up. Ingrown...especially if a couple cluster together can keep you out of the game for a good minute.

I feel best care if you wasn't able to prevent an ingrown is using hot/wet towels on the area to open up pores etc couple a times a day until it grows out & heals.

That's just my take....But maybe y'all have some better ways...

If you really want to prevent ingrown pubic hairs you need to take some high octane gas, mix it with plastics and create own version of napalm. Apply to crotch and light! No more in grown pubic hairs and better yet no more inane posts from you.

lmfao, definitely made me laugh :-)

On a more serious note though, i have known a couple of guy's whose ingrown hairs (between their butt cheeks), got infected to the point of having to go into hospital.

Before i had hair removal laser, i did have one or two and found that if i sterlised the area and used a sterile pin to extract it, that this was the best way to do it.

Not sure how i would have managed that if it was between my butt cheeks though :-P

You apply the aftershave gel immediately after shaving. It smells like alcohol but it doesn't dry the skin out. I've been using it for years and I don't have razor rash anymore. Laser hair removal didn't work on me because my hair is too light in color. I had six of them and it didn't do a damn thing.  Are used to have ingrown hairs and they are terrible and unsightly. I don't know how old you are but you might outgrow that someday, but in the meantime, try my bikini zone after shave gel. Plus, it smells really clean and nice!

Thanks, I'll check that out. I'm always concerned....Cause it used to happen ever so often until I made sure to wash my crotch 3x a day in the early days after shaving, lol. Ya right about age...Faster hair growth w/ age has definitely been helpful for my face if I clean shave.

Brothas know about magic shave on the face...I was thinking that Maybe I get the sensitive version for the crotch, lol! Though I'm cool with electric (basic, not lift and cut below the skin unless I'm starting over on facial hair ) on my face as daily face washing works for me & I'll get one bump ever so often.
