Not sure I understand your question? It seems like you're asking if anyone has met a trans girl that they didn't know was trans beforehand? Yes, there are many airbrushed pictures of trans and genetic women providers who turn out to be very different upon meeting. There's a line not to cross; pictures from 8-10+ years ago, extremely photo shopped or images of someone else is a complete no no. Embellishing is common with all providers, about half look as good or better than the posted images. Google their number, email, pictures and look into social media if they have any, that can give you more info.

Many trans women get their ID changed to list them as a female. It's more common in some other countries but is a growing practice with more and more trans women in the USA. Regardless if they're pre-op or not it allows them to live a more normal life, gain employment, health and auto insurance and a number of other things. Many post-op trans may even keep that to themselves until you really get to know them. It's a very personal thing and different for everyone.  

Outside of the "hobby" many trans want to blend in, not be noticed and are very low key, others are the opposite. Thinking of them mainly as a fantasy or something along those lines can distort your perspective, they're ordinary people too. The majority of them, like everyone else, just want to get through this thing called life. They probably live a more complex and challenging life than most can understand. Open direct communication, simple questions may be the difference between getting fooled or not.

I've met and dated trans women in my private life in addition to the hobby. Some I knew where trans beforehand, others I met in a social setting and had no clue. I've never felt deceived other than another girl chasing after money lol. Hope this helps...
