Drama burnout: taking a vacation FROM La Zona -- perhaps until the very end of the year.

I went to La Zona this past weekend and the drama is getting a bit much for me.  I got the closure I wanted from my situation down there -- it was painful and stressful, but it's done.

When I come back in December 2003, I will be much more detached, yet still friendly.  I will attempt to broaden my horizons by frequenting the local discos and clubs - a la Milky.  I want to try to hook up with a non-pro hottie in TJ and become more of a local than a mongering visitor.

In the meantime, I am hankering to dip into the L.A. club scene again while I'm still in my 20's.  Hopefully, my game has improved to the point where I can lure some hot Angelenas.

Whether or not I come back to TJ as planned, TJ will always be in my heart.  My thoughts will be with all those I have met down there.  There are many down there that need our thoughts and prayers -- not just our cash.  I will be back eventually.  The last 2-3 months have been filled with great and crazy memories -- good and bad.  The experience has been life-altering in a good way.

The lastest and final installment of my TJ experiences for 2003 will be forthcoming shortly.

I will still be visiting and contributing to this site periodically.  I sincerely wish all my TJ hobby brothers the best in your adventures down south. Treat the locals and the chicas well, they deserve our human kindness.

Hasta luego,

Rico

ABM... sorry to see you go for a while but having kept up with your intense adventures via your posts, I can understand you are due for a break! I hope you let us know what happened with you and the most recent hottie you met.

Good luck... and keep the great positive attitude. It's rare and I think it will contribute to your finding what you are looking for, on one side of the border or the other.

dude, you're young and single-there's a lot more out there for you than TJ.

You've experienced the worst of what the Zone has to offer, you got chewed up and spit out. take this as a lesson in life and try to be a better person from it. If you keep going to the Zone you'll probably be another burn out, crash and burn, going down in flames....

I understand your reasons and wish you well.  I truly have enjoyed your stories and hope you will finish your saga before taking your siesta. I, for one, hope that next year will bring new chapters in a life that appears to be anything but boring.  Best of luck.
