I'm on SD, and every POTs profile has a 'Top Admirers' section encouraging you to 'gift' the POT some of your points. Often, they imply that there are other SDs 'competing' to be 'Top Admirer'.
What do the girls get from having 'Top Admirers'? Can they convert the gifted points for cash? Is it just an ego thing? Or, just a black hole created by the site into which guys can pour points (i.e. money)?

They have that on Secret Benefits as well. I've seen more than one Top Admirer listed on a chick's profile. So I don't think it is a competition in the sense that only one gets listed. I suppose it is a competition in the sense that multiple guys are vying for the same chick -- which probably happens to most chicks on there anyhow.

I wouldn't pay for it even if I knew who got the benefit. Just like I don't pay for "secret" pictures which can't be nudes anyhow. They also have "questions" or something you can pay to read. Like its additional biographical material. Once you buy the contact info you can do all that stuff for free in you correspondence. Kind of dumb to pay extra for that,

SD shows multiple 'Top Admirers' for each POT as well. The reason that I perceived it as a 'competition' was because they show the top three, and how many points each of them 'gifted', listed from highest to lowest (gold, silver, bronze?). The section even features a little trophy icon. (eye roll)
P.S. For the benefit of newbies, I'd discovered some time back that Sugar Daddy and Secret Benefits are similar platforms that share data (but not membership).
I had no intention of falling for the 'Top Admirer' scam, which as I see it, is trying to harness the natural male impulse to compete for mates.
In the end, I'm just curious whether anyone knew if the POTs benefit from the gifts or not. Partially because, I'm wondering whether that's the reason that I get messages, respond and then never hear back. I thought maybe the POTs thought that if they introduce themselves, it might increase the chances that I'll gift them points in order to be their 'favorite'.
I don't need to be anyone's 'favorite'. If my profile doesn't get the job done, I'm not going to throw money at it.
I haven't used SD at all. I've used sdm, SA and a long time ago, Ashley Madison before the scandal.
