a lot of fake profiles on SA.. On 2 or 3 ocassions in the past couple of weeks I have talked with POT SBs and had really good vibes going on..We set up meet and greet appts. And on the day of our meet I would confirm with them by text message or phone call and I got nothing but crickets.. I checked their profiles and they had either deleted the profile or blocked me..I am thinking that the website may be generating messages..I have no clue.I just think that it is strange.Any input would be appreciated and I am curious as to whether anyone else as dealt with this situation.

I have admitted right in here that I am a culprit of creating some fake profiles on SA and I currently have both a fake SD and a fake SB profile. This exercise has given me much better first hand intelligence (some which I've shared on here) as to how and what motivates most SDs and SBs in general in the SugarBoawl.

However, from what you have stated about your experiences I would wager my money on the scenarios that either something went wrong in the last minute with meeting your POTs in terms of getting freaked out by the idea of an arrangement, or that they found someone else/better proposition or that they were just turned off by you. Any combination of such is a strong possibility.

IMHO, the fake ones don't either communicate directly or if they do, they do not share an actual phone number to text back and forth with. I have gotten blocked by a couple of POT SBs after I had communicated with them via text / phone and I accept that outcome as them becoming circumvent based on how (badly) our convo went. I usually tend to shrug it off and move to the next one. In closing I must again stress upon you and your like that the SBs are on that site (mostly) because of financial motivations plus some curiosity but the former is very predominant as opposed to the latter. Be upfront with your intentions and you shall meet plenty of POT SBs. As to whether you can close the deals, well that depends entirely on you and your closing skills. Getting into a sugar relationship is real and not a myth!

and was posted by SA to inflate the appearance of many available women. I have run into profiles that were scams. Like the ones who contact you in order for you to go to their webcam sites. I report these to SA admin and they delete them. But like everyone else here I've had my share of ghosts and no shows. It just goes with the territory. Hang in there. When you get into bed with a real Sb you will know it's worth all the hassle!

a lot of fake profiles on SA..
I strongly suspect there are. I only joined SA a few days ago, and have yet to upgrade to paid membership. I think the level of interest shown in me since I joined is unrealistically high
- Messages from women immediately after joining
- "Favoured" multiple times a day..
- Interest from women all over the world
I suspect this is nothing but phony interest to get me to pony up for paid membership.

I was previously a paid member on SD4M and AM, and both had a lot of fake female members run by the site itself. In fact, AM was later proved to be 99+% fake....

I wouldn't say it's a high percentage, but there are definitely fakes, scammers, flakes, etc.  Many profiles are of SBs looking to sell you photos, videos, etc. but never meet in person.  I bet some of them are actually guys who have photos and videos of women.  Some of them are fairly easy to identify; others are not.

I do run across the occasional POT SB profile that specifically says "no sex" or similar term. Or they say something like "need to  connect and be comfortable first, then can develop more later".

Of course I move on and don't look back whenever I see this.

Are these fake? or are they just neophytes who don't understand the Sugar Bowl?

Also, there are actually guys out there who pay girls just for the company without expectation of sex.

huh? What planet are these guys from?

I've exchanged messages with many SA newbies who are quite unsure of what is expected.  I tell these women that Sugar Dating includes the expectation of intimacy. If a woman wants a platonic arrangement, or if a guy wants an escort, they are both quite entitled to their desires but they are on the wrong website.
