Porn Stars in the Bowl?

Hello all, question for the experienced sugar daddy's out there... I'm pretty experienced in the sugar bowl and have an approach that helps identify the legit GND types and avoid fakes, flakes, and scammers.  (One of which of course is Rule #1: never send money in advance).  There is one exception to that rule, if you're flying a SB in from out of town, for which the cash outlay can't be avoided (eg, airfare, train fair) - I've pulled it off several times now with good results (only one minor loss), after some reasonable amount of screening.  It's just a lot of fun when it works.

Anyway, I've been recently chatting with a couple out-of-town sugar babies that claim to be ex porn stars (maybe not A-listers, but definitely more than amateur cam girls).  I've done the on-line research to try to verify through secondary means (like contacting them via twitter), but questions remain.  The difference with other SB's I've flown in from out-of-town, is that these are asking for some advance deposit.  Given their popularity, I can't fault their ask if they are indeed legit (the market commands what it will command).  There are more details, but I'll leave it at that, and see how some of you might handle this, or perhaps if even some of you have pulled this off.  The temptation is very strong, even if the likelihood of success is low.

Here are the problems that add risk:

1. There are a ton of catfishers posing as porn stars.  And they have used elaborate measures to do this.  Fake twitter, IG, snapchat accounts are easy to set up and hard to detect. Many porn stars never tried or were not big enough to get the blue check on twitter.   Stealing porn star pics is as easy as a single Google search.   Gettig a porn star's "real name" is fairly easy as well.   I once sent cash to an A-List porn star for a SB date, only to discover too late that I was looking at a fake twitter account to verify her travel schedule.  The tip off came when I sent the $150 deposit through PP and the name of the account owner was totally wrong; not the PS name, and not her "real name."  When I took a closer look at the "fake" twitter account, I finally noticed there was an extra letter "x" in the account ID.

2. Many porn stars on Seeking (but definitely NOT all) are using the site for UTR escorting, or they may truly want an SD/SB arrangement (as I have with my 2 PS SB's), but they also book escort sessions through an agency or independently.  So it's not unusual for them to ask for "escort" style vetting and perhaps deposits to help them feel "safe."

3. Travel to your city also poses the same risks for a PS as it does for a civilian SB: Getting ghosted, getting assaulted or worse.   You already understand this dynamic.

So as usual, play at your own risk and YMMV. But a few ideas to reduce the risk:

1. If you MUST send cash, never send more money than you are willing to lose forever.  If you can't laugh off the loss without stress, then do not send the cash.
2. Consider waiting for her to travel to your area (on her dime) for other "business" and then arrange to meet her. No risk of losing the cost of airfare, car rental/Uber, or hotel.
3. Consider asking her to pay for her travel and offer to reimburse her in cash at the M&G. Puts the risk on her, so probably won't be viable.
4. Travel to her area.  Look for a reason to be in her area and plan your trip with buffer time to accommodate date time.

#4 is how I connected with both of my PS SB's:
The first I met at AVN in Las Vegas. My buddy and I decided to go to the conference. I stayed at the same hotel as the event, which was where 75% of the starts were staying as well. I saw her Seeking profile in my area 1st (she has a close PS friend that lives near me) and I contacted her through the site. Since the timing was good, I initially booked a regular escort session with her at the hotel.  We really seemed to connect and she stayed three hours with me. I low-key suggested that I'd be happy to be her LA tour guide when she travels to my area (about 4 times a year) and we joked I could be her "West Coast Daddy."  Since then we've seen each other many times, at the same allowance (about 65% of her 1-hour escort rate at the time) for full day dates. She told me at our last date that she has raised her escort rate about 3x since then, but still accepts my modest allowance.

The second lives about 4 hours from me in another large CA city.  Again, I saw her SA profile as well as her escort ads.  As it turned out, I had been an online PL of hers when she did web camming during the years I lived in Nor Cal.  When I saw her SA profile, I sent her a vague message through twitter, and through the webcam site asking to connect by email.  She remembered me and agreed to meet. I decided to travel to her city for a 2-day visit. The drive was easy and the hotel was affordable, maybe $125 a night.  She met me at the hotel and we went to dinner.  Again, we seemed to connect and she wanted to see me in a SD/SB arrangement. We discussed allowance and logistics.  I really did not want to drive to her for every date and I sure could not afford to pay her escort rates for a multi-hour date.  So after discussing with no specific agreement, I told her I would think about how to make everyone happy and make an offer in a few days.  The next week I contacted her and made this offer:  "Every time you come to my city for work, I'd be delighted to see for $xxx amount."  The amount was, again, much lower than her one-hour escort rate.  My rational was that she would be in my area already for work. So she was already getting paid enough to bring her to my area for professional shoots. If she stayed an additional day, or met me during her 2-4 day stay, that was all just "bonus" cash for her. It cost her essentially nothing to see me, and she apparently enjoyed being with me.  This has worked well for the most part. The only challenges come when she gets scheduled for work on short notice and I cannot clear my schedule to see her when she is available.

No complaints, really, about either of them. They are both absolute sex-freaks in bed. And they typically leave me breathless.  And they are wonderful dates outside of the bedroom.  I suspect that each of them has been recognized when we are out together. But I live in a location where porn star sightings are actually fairly common, so no one has been a dick about seeing them in public.

Sorry I didn't elaborate.

Class is in session:

The acronym PL came out of the strip club industry blogs in the late 90's to early 2000's. A stripper was commenting about the cheap assholes in clubs who never tip or get dances. She referred to them all as Pathetic Losers. That term stuck and now PL is widely used to mean guys who go to strip clubs. And by extension, it's spread to other formats like web camming.

So a guy who goes to a strip club, or engages in any online equivalent like watching women strip, use toys, and sometimes have sex online is a PL.

Class dismissed. Quiz on Friday. ;P

And I don't mean entry into her pussy.   Getting into porn isn't particularly challenging for chicks.  There's a big turnover in talent and the viewers are always wanting new new new.  They don't even have to be that good looking, considering what makeup can do for them.  (Google "porn stars without makeup" to see what I mean.)
.
Even the word "star" has long lost any meaning beyond being a member of the crew in front of the camera lens (that goes for Hollywood in general too, not just porn.)
.
Now I am not saying that some porn actresses aren't hot.  But at least for me, the alure of a particular porn star was formed long before I was involved in escorts and sugaring.  So other than the few that I occasionally find to be super attractive, most of them are meh compared to your average sugar babe.  Just my opinion.
.
So  not worth it most of the time.

Starting in the 1980's, the Adult Industry "Star" system was modeled off the Hollywood star model. Big studios would sign popular models to multi-movie contracts and would invest in promoting, marketing, and selling these stars.  By the early 2000's the industry had changed significantly and the stars lost their shine.

Today, anyone with a webcam and an internet connection can produce and distribute porn.  The definition of a "Porn Star" has become a self-defining process not validated by anyone besides the person in the scene.

Add to that the reality that what a woman does on cam to look good having sex does not always translate into the reality of having good sex with her yourself.  That amazing-looking BJ while she sits on a motorcycle while giving 2 other guys HJ's does not mean she gives great BJ's. It may only mean she gives great LOOKING BJ's on camera.

BUT: There are still certain performers who are the real goods. They love sex, they have developed skills, they enjoy the thrill of fucking different people (for money or?).

So it all comes back to same place:  YMMV.

In past decades I avoided booking PS Escots due to the high cost. I just couldn't justify $1.5 - $3k or more for an hour of sex that may or may not be amazing beyond the fantasy of fucking that one star.  That $1,500 could pay for 3 to 4 amazing sessions with non-PS providers. Today, I will only approach a PS through a SB focus, for all the reasons you may think.
