Seeking Payment plus and minus

Any negative or future issues that could occur by using my personal credit card for payment on Seeking? Married, yes, credit card statements non accessible to SO. As you are aware, they do not accept gift cards, but debit cards from Walmart work, but the fees add up. Thanks in advance for your input.

... so I'm not qualified to comment on any relationship OpSec issues.

But I have been using my major bank debit card on auto-rebill on Seeking since I originally signed up 10+ years ago.

Never had a problem - except that one time when Seeking asked all users to reset passwords due to a potential data breach. After changing my password, I monitored my card almost hourly for a month and never saw any unusual activity.

If  SO gets wind of hidden spending, shit could hit the fan.  Also in divorce proceedings you are generally required to produce all financial documents.  Pretty sure you don't want to generate a paper trail.

just so I understand, you're willing to risk a paper trail and potential discovery from opposing counsel should a divorce happen in order to save a few bucks on a prepaid card?

Bud, no offense but if those nominal fees are a concern of yours, maybe the bowl isn't the right place to be playing.

Bank accounts would be reviewed as well, the harder explanation of why $$$ is being withdrawn every week or every other. Once your in, your in.

I seem to recall some posts (probably) on General with suggestions on how to skim some funds and not get caught. I think one was to find a trusted friend to do some work for you (car repair; carpentry repairs; etc.) but to kick back the funds to you for the work not done. Find a hobby that the SO will hate and use that as a money sink (weekend fishing trips to Mosquito Lake but stop at the fish monger on the way home to pick up some "proof" that you went fishing).  There were other even better ideas.

EDIT: I found a couple of threads but there are several others out there.

Paying for things (groceries for example) with the ATM card as opposed to the CC, and take out an extra hundred in cash back. Buy something off of craigslist or similar. Item costs say 1k...withdraw 1500 and pocket the extra. Sell some shit laying around in your garage for cash on craigslist, pocket all that cash. Purchase high dollar item at Costco (electronics work well) and pay with ATM card. Return it a few days later and get the cash for it. Get the car professionally detailed and let the SO know you had to tip in cash.

There's plenty of ways to funnel cash to your hobby funds without making weekly $300 withdrawals.
