I play in PA and I have found a lot of the women are fitness instructors (Pilates, yoga and personal training). The other profession that seems to show up noticeably is real estate too.The late 20 yo student in junior college.
The fitness industry jobs are for most parts dead end jobs. Some girls get into them because that's their passion and think that they can also make a living by doing that cr*p. Wrong! Many BS yoga places (what a racket!) charge upwards of $2500 for their basic yoga instructor courses and many girls who think that yoga is some sort of gateway to spiritualism (spiritualism = religion lite) lap that sh*t up a mile long!
The ones who state R.E. on the other hand are mostly full of it! Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of starving RE agents but more so in down markets and in the 2007 RE collapse lots of female agents took refuge in providing as ways of making ends meet (pun intended). The most whimsical POT SB whom I had met had claimed that she was a full on attorney but was looking for a 10K per month SD. I am not discounting the notion of some law students SB'ing as their means of getting by but full on attorneys? Hmmm?!!!
Absolutely. The law schools churn 'em out far in excess of what law firms will hire. That, or they get unrealistic income expectations - BigLaw pays $160K to new associates, but the dropoff after that is dramatic (small firms pay $40-60K). Too many law students only see the BigLaw salaries and assume they'll get that, but if they're not going to a top 30 law school, that likelihood drops even more dramatically than the salaries, something the lower tier and unranked law schools don't disclose (I feel bad for University of LaVerne law grads, who have limited hopes of a midsize firm job and absolutely zero of anything paying over $100K, but who'll graduate with $150K of debt).
It's sad, because there are plenty of people who could use affordable legal help, but won't get it because the debt service forces different choices...

Well me and those ^^ 2 guys are all fishing in the same pond... there's some serious BS going on... like the # of 18-22 year olds in socal who think their companionship is worth $8-$10k per month is ABSURD.... Like I don't know what they think they bring to the table, or if they know what the going rate for a blowjob really is... but the ratio of girls who'll settle for nothing less to guys who have it AND want to spend it must be 100:1 or more.

By creating their "Lifestyle Expectations" list they define what should be considered normal, and the girls go for it. On our side, the fantasy is that we are going to find our perfect unicorn, insanely beautiful and devoted to fucking our brains out constantly. The reality is a bit different, and it's our job as the older and theoretically wiser one to educate them to the realities. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. I like the idea someone here posted recently that we may not all be whales but we sure as hell ain't tadpoles either. We are all quite willing to pay a girl a reasonable amount of money for a reasonable amount of intimate companionship. It's quite great when you both agree on what's reasonable.
A 21 year old girl's profile (who had herself listed as negotiable) talked all about getting taken on trips and being spoiled and lavished with luxuries... so I wrote her to ask about the contradiction... she said "I might be negotiable if you bought me a car", so I told her that was completely delusional and she said "I'm sorry you're poor" and blocked me. I live in a smallish city a couple of hours out of Dallas, and I see SB's both from Dallas, the small city I live in, and all parts in between, including Fort Worth and the mid cities.
Here at home I find plenty of college girls who are THRILLED to death to get three hundred bucks each time we meet. One wanted $500 a week, but that was to see each other several times a week. Another, my current fav, has never asked me for money at all, I simply give her whatever I feel like giving her each time and she seems to be happy with it, usually around a couple of hundred bucks.
I think you guys are being too literal with these girls. Just because a girl says "substantial" on her profile doesn't mean she is going to demand $2,500 a week just to see her once a week. I have an 18 year old hottie in my "rotation" who not only states 'substantial" on her profile, but also states "Don't contact me if you don't make at least $500 K a year" I give her $300 each time we meet. If she were on TER, she'd be getting solid tens. I could have told her "you're delusional" when I first read her expectations, but my goal is not to "put her in her place" my goal is to get laid by young, non hooker hotties. Don't get me wrong, I like hookers too, but getting laid by hookers is hardly a "goal" lol
It is really pretty evident by his own accounts that he's quite new to this realm so there's that necessary learning curve in front of him. Now he can either learn s few tips from the more experienced SDs on here and learn to cool off his jets a bit, or just diminish his own odds as I had referred to down this subforum.
When girls block one, it is really no water off their backs! If my fake SB profile had taught me one valuable lesson, it would be that there are literally hundreds upon hundreds of POT SDs who will write to these girls if they are young and hot looking. I am not refuting LEN's observations that there are hoards of delusional SB types in our locale (So. Cal) whose expectations are outlandish but IMHO trying to put them in their place or to illuminate them from a keyboard is a very wasteful and futile exercise. Some may get very lucky to land a whale SD (very slim chances) and some get lucky when they land a totally insecure SD who is comfortable but not wealthy by any means who will spend himself out of his nest egg to cater to such mercenary SB types (these suckers do exist and are much more prevalent than the whales) but most of these girls will either end up succumbing to economic realities or just fall of by the way side.
It is not my desire to share my savvy ways, experiences and worldliness with those yahoo SB types for naught and give them the satisfaction of blocking me in the process. Some of them are so trigger happy hence my penchant for creating a brand new profile everytime I resurface on SA!
If I do a 25 mile search for ALL SB's no filters used at all, I get a grand total of 124 total POT SB, of which well over half have not been active for at least a month.
Now when I expand that search to 100 miles, that number climbs up to over a thousand and within probably fifty more miles the number is in the "several" thousand range.
There still is no benefit or purpose in "telling off" either a POT SB or even a hooker for that matter. I don't need to feel good about myself by "proving" to myself that I am smarter than an 18 year old. That should be a given at this stage of my/our lives. When I POT SB is completely unreasonable, I simply move onto the next one. No big deal. I do the same in the hookers world. I don't get all bent out of shape because a woman chooses to charge a grand an hour. I most certainly won't pay it, but I don't get all bent out of shape about it.
Like GaGa, I have not come across the $8K-$10K woman. I'm sure it will happen but until then, I am enjoying the company of a few SBs that are in the $350 - $400 range. Probably a little steeper than GaGa would pay but it works for me and that's all that matters.
