Braces are not off-putting to me. I would definitely go for a braces SB with no points deducted and possibly a small point added.
It seems to me that girl with braces may be self conscious about her appearance and may think she’s less desirable. Maybe she is less desirable on average to SDs. But braces are a neutral appearance factor for me. So the braces may give me a very slight advantage since they may cull some competition and make her more eager to connect with someone who still finds her attractive.
Another factor is the cost of braces. She needs money for them. But I don’t know if the need for braces money makes her more amenable to any arrangement, or makes her demand more money because braces are expensive. Could play either way.
I seem to remember seeing slightly more braces opportunities in the PI when I was searching there last fall. But I have not been with a braces chick.
If she has braces, and is any age over 18 -- and can pull off an especially youthful appearance with the way she dresses -- it's definitely a plus for me! :
I'm one who does think braces are unattractive. But that said, I sure wouldn't pass up a good opportunity just because she has braces. I suppose, given several options, I'd go for the ones without braces first.
