Another Damn Scam

Hi all.  Just a cautionary note that there are still plenty of scammers working the SA website.  Here's my most recent experience.  I see a profile of a lovely young woman who's headline says she offers "access to all my holes". Well ok, the red flags are already going off in my brain but I respond.  We exchange several truly dirty, explicit messages about what we will do to each other and she asks to go to email.  fine. Once on email she sends me lots of sexy pictures.  Also fine.  Then she tells me this weird story about how she works as a dietician on a secret military base where soldiers are being trained for a future operation.  She can't leave the base without advance permission and she needs a special transit pass that costs $388 and won't I just send her the money via WU?  Her writing becomes less and less cogent in each message.  As far as I can tell I could be conversing with a person of any gender or age anywhere in the world.  Who knows?  For now I'm stringing "her" along just to see how much more of her time I can waste before she tells me to fuck off!

Yes, I have had some very bizarre conversations with POT SB's, some of them really sound like they are using "Nigerian ghostwriters" as they make so little sense to anyone thinking with their big head.

I remember one POT SB who must not have known a lot about US geography as she "claimed" to be in a small town about 50 miles from me, but after an exchange of about a dozen messages she asked me what was the closest airport to me and a few minutes later started hitting me up for airfare.

Like you, I played with her for a while until she finally got frustrated and ghosted on me, and like you, I am using the term "she" rather loosely I am sure. lol

You might have shown up and found that she has dug a number of pits in her back yard to which you would be  invited to sit in to your heart's content.

Yeesh.

Please keep stringing her along! Karma's a muthafucker lmao 😂😂😂

I had a very similar scam about a year ago. The profile just had a state with no city listed and she/he used the same excuse and scam.

This person must have some success with this scam if "she" is still using it.  I think we are doing each other a solid by reporting this crap here.  In my case "her" profile had a city in Texas listed first, then after I replied "she" changed it to a city near me. As soon as we moved to email "she" removed the profile.  Sure sounds like the same scammer.

There is nothing new about on-line dating or hook-up site scams.  Been going on since day one on all of these sites, like Match, AdultFriendFinder and all their iterations, SA, you name the site.  Scams are part of what one needs to filter through to find the genuine.  They all pretty much follow the same scenario, which is to entice with the bait (usually something too good to be true) and then switch to the plea for monetary help with a plane ticket or whatever, always to be sent via WU and always less than the dollar amount that could raise red flags for the authorities.  Simplest way to weed out this activity is to ignore favorites and views from profiles not in your immediate vicinity.  One can also report these profiles to the site, but that's spinning wheels, because they will be back tomorrow with an entirely new bogus profile.
