I remember, before even considering getting into the hobby, checking out eros.com and thinking that it was THE place to find the hottest advertised providers. I was lucky enough to find out about TER before I actually saw a girl and of course I found that many that advertise on eros are rip offs or don't provide as advertised.
What would you say is the percentage of good providers that advertise on that site. Reading reviews on this site has lead me to believe that only 30%,maybe 40%, are reliable. Some reliable and well reviewed agency girls advertise multiple girls on there and I am only counting that as one,not one for each girl advertised by the agency. That's just my thoughts, certainly a better bet relative to what you might find on other sites like craigs list,etc.
Any thoughts?? I certainly believe that the site has the best, easiest to use, site as far as the all around set up, easy to navigate to find providers in your area. A shame there are alot of scammers on there.
...of the Eros girls that I have called have been legit and reliable. Of course, the only ones I call are the ones that have TER reviews.

Hey, I find girls on Craig's List as well but almost never without a review.
There are some UTR ladies who have no reviews and I have rolled the dice a few times as long as the gal at least had her own web site. It may not always be a five star experience but at least it's not a total rip-off.

Yes, reviewed girls are always the best bet. I am talking about all girls who advertise on there, reviewed and unreviewed.
The only reason I posed the question was because I noticed alot of the providers in the ripoff section have advertised on there.
There are ALOT of ads on their that have no reviews, and I am like you, no TER review = no date.
do your homework. My eros add links directly to my website which links directly to my ter reviews.
I had a guy about a month ago who called a lady off of eros and the lady that showed up was not the one in the pic. She pulled a gun on him. Took his money. He said that by her demeanor she knew what she was doing with it, so of course he didn't protest, and she left. I educated him about checking reviews and ter. A few mouse clicks could have saved him the mental BS this put him thru.
Life itself is a crapshoot. Sorry, tallslim, for not answering your question directly, but I think your odds improve dramatically using ter.
I had always thought that Eros was the place to go for not getting the bait and switch/rob, etc as it seemed a bit more legit than craigslist, cityvibe, etc. I have never used eros to hook up and within the last year became a member of TER and was astounded at the number of eros ads that were rip-offs. Including the infamous Loren in San Antonio that I was really close to meeting with when I lived there and didn't as I moved. Looked her up on TER and she has pages of rip-off reviews. Seems like the high dollar porn star/agency girls on Eros are reliable though, but I concur with a previous poster. Check TER and make sure they have multiple reviews before taking the plunge.
Yes both El DaNGER and Raven, you can be assured I only see girls with good reviews.
Like I mentioned in an above post, that site just has ALOT of unreviewed providers, and that what I was wanting opinions on. It is the most complete advertising site, as far as nationwide, that I have seen, but they could do a better job in screening out scammers, judging by the ripoffs reviewed on this site, they seem to let them advertise on there again and again.
Agree 100%, if you look at the TER rip-off section there are women from Eros with some 5+ pages of rip-off reviews dating back several years and are still on eros. Incredible to me that they would allow this
If you are looking for info on a provider with no reviews, post a question on your local board asking for info. As far as Eros goes, I'm not sure if they have any screening procedures in place. Seems as so long as the money is green, they will run the ad.
Eros is a great place to quickly browse thru who's in the area, and I do think they are less BS-prone than CList, but use it in conjunction with TER to avoid the bad ones.
How many cars for sale on EBAY or in your local newspaper are reliable. Many are. Some aren't. You have to check them out first.
I guess I would have to try them all out and get back to you.
anecdotally, I would estimate that about 40% of the ladies who don't have reviews yet are legit. Buyer beware.
...back in 2001 that brought me to TER. She was a cash & dash. Haven't been burned since then, since I only select women with multiple good TER reviews from reviewers with more than a couple of reviews each.
J/K of course... I am never sure about the ladies on EROS so check locals boards and of course TER... Watch out for one-time, first reviewers too... Many a lady has the 8, 8 review and still is a fraud.
have had a few great hook ups. high percentage are too disorganized to return phone calls. or are out and out head cases.
There is no substitute for doing research. Sure, window shop on Eros but be sure to check for reliable TER reviews. Otherwise, you may get a B & S or ROB experience. TER has never failed me.
