Do we book providers?
Hang out with friends?
Take the day off?

Providers are most of you off or do you work? Is it a busy day?

Personally I take off Feb 14th and 15th that is reserved.

Just as Christmas is for me, except I get paid for Christmas, I love those Christians, they get me the week of Christmas and New Year off paid, and Good Friday too. And, I don't put stuff on my forehead or eat wafers and grape juice while waving my hand in some orchestrated manner, or stand up, sit down, kneel in some orchestrated way. So, I get the benefit and I don't have to play charades or follow the rules. Yep, gotta love those Christians.

I used to celebrate Valentine's day, although I thought it was bullshit then as I do now. But I played the game for the ex. I remember telling her when we were dating though, I'll participate in Valentine's Day, but I don't participate in Sweetest day. What a bunch of commercial bullshit that is. There's no wonder that I'm divorced, is there?

So I will most likely seek a provider since that falls into my

Sunday thru Saturday availability

If it was during the week I would work. I am not a fan of these manufactured bullshit days so it is just another day for me.

If your making a trip to NY I would highly recommend spending time with Roxanne. She is top shelf. Awesome entertainer provider and friend yes I have seen her multiple times. No I haven't shared the details. I would bet a steak dinner she would make you laugh.

You've still got some work to do to be the most depressing poster ever, but with some more effort I am sure you'll get there.

As for you being divorced...no surprise as to why.

I get to see the dress my sister is going to walk down the aisle wearing for her July wedding. It never made it to the house and she asked me to go with her.

Than she is going to take me shopping for clothing which I refuse to do alone. She works in the fashion industry and usually gets me some real nice clothes super cheap and she is good with colors.

We are doing dinner in Hoboken and that will be the day.

Better than last years where I did absolutely nothing

and then go back to her place and really celebrate the day.

Let us not mince words here Dr Who, I don't give a fuck what you think of me, not one little bit.

I believe everyone is entitled to my opinion, so I share it.

And yes, in the last sentence of my post, I said "There's no wonder that I'm divorced, is there?".

Fuck marriage! It's a bullshit deal for a man.

It takes the cake for the most ridiculous of days to celebrate IMO....but enjoy if that's your thing. I just don't get it lol.

If its a day for lovers in love why do you need someone to tell you to acknowledge it. That should be a given 365 days a year. Not 1. Enjoy your chocolates!

We've already got enough lonely people here.  Don't add to that.

I'm sure that some guy will offer to take you out for dinner somewhere.

Remember I don't drive downtown. ;)

I guess I don't understand what discretion means. I mentioned a sister and what I was doing for V- Day. I didn't give any names or any locations how is that breaking any laws? If I'm not using a providers name or saying any legal activity I can saw whatever comes out

It started years ago because I was tired of the same old same old, and it gets better each year because of who I find to share it with. Here's how it goes:

I make this big homemade pizza and I form a big heart out of pepperoni in the middle.  Then I try to find just the right person to share it and a six pack of beer with (only requirements are a sense of humor, no dietary restrictions, and an open mind lol) and then we let nature take its course after that.   So keeping it simple, non-commercial, with just the right beer, carbs, human touch and playtime mixed in along the way has to be what St. Valentine had in mind - just not what Hallmark had in mind ;). I know, I'm a hopeless romantic, ain't I lol

Nothing equates to = I just don't consciously make plans to go out simply because its that ridiculous holiday ( just because everyone else does lol). I have my lil lovers all lined up for the evening, oh don't you worry your lil hiney off lol ;)

woman on the planet who thinks its a tad corny, commercialized and unnecessary. When you are in love, you celebrate it everyday. Flowers and chocolates on 1 day aren't necessary to fill the void for the remaining 364.

Just my take...do you catch my drift yet? Sheesh lol

I for one am celebrating it everyday ;)

A bunch of us kick in and rent a garage on the North Side of Chicago. We send invitations to a phony meet & greet to the guys that gave us less than 10 10 reviews. We show up dressed as cops…
Well – you know the story

I expect to cook a shit ton of steaks that night, as all the girlfriends and wives milk their SO's wallet for steak and shrimp.  Even if I somehow managed to have that day off, my money will be spent tomorrow when I see my ATF for my birthday.  So no bullshit VD celebration for me.
