Have many of you encountered providers who return to work too soon after their period? Twice I have been with ladies where after I withdrew in the middle of a session the condom had reddish brown stains on it. One of the ladies told me she had finished her period and didn't realise there was still some remnants inside...but I wish they'd been smart enough to insert a sponge or cap. A woman's cycle is not nearly as predictable as you imply or might wish for. Cycles can range from 21-45 days (for 95% of women age 18 to 40). Sure there is fluid, blood, and mucous in period blood, but for her to catch HIV from her uterine lining shedding, ummm NO! Doesn't sound right.
