I am speaking in terms of advertising, not what is on the provider's website. I won't put anything flashing on my site.
Animated banners such as the one above and animated thumnails? Or static banners for providers. Do you look at what's new in your town, or for who is established? How do you search for providers? On TER how do you sort your profiles in your searches?

as far as where do I go to find a provider, TER. However, I like to find ONE person that I can trust and just do business with her. I am not into the sex sport deal....so I like my woman to be GFE, soft, gentle, and kind. Guess I'm rather boring when it comes to sex. I like to take my time and enjoy.
I've seen several sites that really seem to have thought/art put into them. Pic with some nudes, but some dressed are nice also. I would say that I am not the norm in this however.

Banners. Animations could get distracting, though. It would be nice if the animation would only do its thing once or twice, and then stop, unless you put your mouse on it.
I look for both new and established.
Sorting profiles? I've never taken that option.

Some VR thoughts on providers web sites....
I definitely don't like flash sites.
I skip intro.
I like when I open up to the Bio page(short and sweet with provider's measurements) and have quick access to pictures.
Bio and pictures right away on one page would be perfect.
As my time on TER is now well past 1 year,I've been useing the search engine less and less but for the first 6 months or so,I utilized it plenty.I'm sure there is a"silent majority" on TER where many use the Search engine a great deal.
Form pages scare the hell out of me.Not one for forms.
Contact numbers and e-mail addresses should not be hidden.
Minimum 2 hour donations are a turnoff.
One hour over $$$$...I'm out of there.
(more power to the GFE providers out there that can get more but based on my experiences with TER providers so far...I have recieved all the looks,quality,service and attitude I need under that $point)
New providers in town should have TER review link.
MOST IMPORTANT!...."The money call"... In sales, if the phone rings or there is any new correspondence from a potential client...KEEP THE LINE OF COMMUNICATION open....Don't delay!
I've had several "dead air" bouts with potential providers that are a complete turn off. All it takes is a WARM WELCOME somewhere else and VR can be easily swayed.
Did I say easy?...Not that easy...lol

Good post VR, I am in total agreement with all. Don't over-do it, keep it simple htm, no flash or even java. A while back my PCs got so overloaded with ad/spy/scumware (it's ALL scumware) that it took me a ridiculous amount of time to clean it off, and now all are locked down/innoculated, and won't load ANYTHING that allows activeX, or even potentially dangerous java to run. So when I hit sites that wont't load, or that won't allow photos to run due to restrictions, I just close it and move on.

You can be more attention grabbing with a banner than a thumbnail.
However, I don't much care for animated banners. They are just a bit to "busy" for me.

I definitely don't like flash sites whether it be visual or audio. The web site needs to load quickly. The bio page should contain enough information such as location (city), a nice head shot, statistics (ht., wt., measurements), hours of availability, e-mail address, etc.
I have been on TER a little over 2 years. If I'm going to be in a new city I'll use the search engine to define spending limits, minimum ratings (especially for performance), and availability whether it be day/night incall/outcall. I under that get-aquainted time is needed on a first date but minimum 2 hour donations don't excite me, especially if the 1 hr. rate is over $$$$. Unlike some other guys, I do not have a money tree in the back yard or an ATM machine that doesn't need a card to get the cash.
Like most guys a generally prefer at least 2 or 3 reviews for quality assurance. I have met many wonderful ladies through TER and have only been disappointed once. I tend to re-visit ladies who I have "clicked" with. I'm not into adding notches to the bed post.
