I'll preface this question with two statements. I'm very new to the hobby. And, I would never consider doing what this provider requested. I'm just curious about the risks.
Here's my question. After a great session, a provider I've met twice and had drinks with a couple of times, asked if it would be okay to sleep in my hotel room that night after I left. This would have required giving her the hotel key card. This was a mid range hotel with no stocked mini bar or anything. The request kind of caught me off guard and I stammered what I hope was a tactful refusal. But, I am curious to know the risks associated with allowing something like this. If she was malicious, could she find out my personal info or charge a bunch of crap to my room? Have you ever been burned by doing something like thisYou should also work on your creative writing skills.
What an awkward and unprofessional thing for her to lay on you. She might of just been one of those dopey art school types but you never know. Look, I have done this but it was at MY offering for girls that I know EXTREMELY well.
What if shit goes down when you are gone? What if she brings her other johns there? What if she trashes the room? What if..... You didn't just say you were just new to the hobby but VERY new so you get a gold star here. You thought with the big head. To curry favor with her, you could have easily said yes but you kept your composure and did the right thing here. That's good work by you.As long as everything is transferred over to her name I see no problem with it. But if she wants the room kept under your name then Hell No!
And the room is in your name then you could be in trouble for helping her and promoting a place of Prostitution.
I have to say this is the best solution. You should only agree if she allows you to transfer the room to her name. Since you already paid for it, there should be no reason why she would not agree.
and will most likely be accompanied by a pimping charge.
Why people want to help people they don't know, who are most likely users(people users) is beyond me
I was well aware of the risk and was willing to take it. I have actually done it a few times.
Yes of course there is risk. Doesn't even matter that she's a provider. Booking a room in your name and letting someone else stay in the room is a risk to you, for the reasons you mentioned as well as other reasons.

You may get a knock on your real door. You could be accused of being her pimp. Don't do it. It's not worth it.
... if the lady isn't wanted fugitive, has credit, or some other form of payment. Why can't she book her own room?
Just say no.That could create a BIG problem with security b/c they are not going to let her in w/o ID, they start asking questions, poking around, calling my cell in the middle of the night, etc.
Even people you trust can fk you over unintentionally.I had a provider offer to let me stay overnight in the hotel room she'd booked for our afternoon. I thanked her but said no.
Whether it's you in her room or her in yours, it just seems like an invitation to disaster.I don't care how well I know someone.
I'm leery of a hooker that has nowhere else to be, except with me. Even when I wish they would never leave.I don't think you've shared that adventure with us.
Did you write a review on her?But I'd never ask. Seems a bit tacky.
Amen. Like what was her plan beforehand? She ain't got no home (local) or she ain't got nor room (traveling)??? Inappropriate to ask someone for that much trust. He came to get off not leave an open tab.
Make phone calls? I've heard of this kind of thing happening.
Sorry you got burned!
Steph
I'm dying to know the real story
Your spelling skills need a bit of work...payed??? WTF is that? Perhaps you meant PAID.
I appreciate all the replies. I think (never know for sure) she just needed a place to sleep but I think it would have been a disaster no matter what.
Next time I will be prepared for a request like that. Sure is difficult to say no after a pretty amazing session. Glad I did though. You can't tell the story without naming the hooker? Really I don't need a name...but the story would be entertaining.
C'mon Rod...share with us. I'm sure it's a lovely story.
Part of its purpose is to let other mongers know who to stay away from. By not sharing that info you are making it more likely that it will happen to someone else.
Thanks so much for standing this world on its head. Again.
did you read your own link?
or maybe the insinuation was that the OP had his hooker on a leash?I promise I'll pay you back. Honest injun.
Glad you learned...and hopefully it didn't cost you all that much.
I also hope you told some people about this ROB. That's what the backchannel is for."Payed?" And you critique his writing skills? Moron.
No one ever suggested you announce it on the boards. Just tell people back channel as someone else suggested.
In fact, she'd probably hit you up for another loan. And knowing you, you'd give it to her.
It's about giving back to this community by warning guys she's not to be trusted if she asks for a loan. I said this before. It's very simple. And, yet, you still don't get it. Do you really have no idea how this place is supposed to work. Is saving her reputation more important to you than saving the next guy his money? Geez, have you got your priorities ass backwards.
We also know that the likelihood that this was her first ROB isn't likely....nor will that be her last ROB. It's inaction like what Rod is babbling that allows these ROB's to thrive.
Yep...Rod's priorities are seriously fucked up. But he did say he wouldn't do that again. Maybe he did feel like a moron for getting suckered. Not enough however to help the next fool. However the gals that I've trusted over the years have proven that the ROB's are a minority. The gals that I know have a high sense of right and wrong. Hence my believing in their causes.I have done it few times and nothing horrible happened. It all depends on the company you keep. If you approach life with the belief everyone is fuck you, they surely will
you feel no need to be a helpful, contributing member of this community because you've been given a hard time. And we all know why. Your relentless cluelesness, naivte and refusal to see the light. So instead of reforming, you defiantly list the many ways you've been wronged.
Poor baby!
And it's not "my" community. If you hate it here so much, why do you stay? I must say at this point it's hard to understand. You've got such a martyr complex and are such a drama queen -- and are so totally unwilling/unable to change -- one wonders what keeps you here?
Do you enjoy abuse and rejection? Or is it the old "Moses Complex?" You're just determined to change something that doesn't want to be changed into your version of the ideal.
Really, there are plenty of boards out there. There must be one for people like you where you'd be happy, instead of beating your head against things here.
You really do take things much too seriously. What a shock.
And what a tantrum you just threw.
I think it about trust, but I would never feel comfortable seeing a client after he leaves.
I feel more comfortable inviting a guest over from a room I funded.
who have left reviews that help you, me, and all of us to make informed decisions.
I think this would indeed be useful information to share.
Why paint the entire community with a broad brush because of squabbles you've had with a tiny minority of members on the message boards? Sorry your generosity was taken advantage of - that really sucks - but please re-think this. You might just feel empowered by standing up and doing the right thing.
If Rod was foolish enough to loan a provider money, and never got paid back, he is not obligated to tell the community about it. Even when those threads about loans to providers come up, everyone just bashes the guy for being an idiot. And just who is Rod supposed to "backchannel" this info to anyway? Sorry but I'm with him this time.
If a provider asks for deposits and someone makes a deposit and doesn't get a session and doesn't get his deposit back, then I see that as a ROB that should be reported to the community. Many other types of ROBs should be reported to the community, but a provider asking for a loan? (Or in Rod's case, a hotel room). It's up to the guy if he says yes or not. He has to assess his own risk, but he is not obligated "to share that with the community." Hell I've been there myself. I have loaned providers money. (and I have also paid for hotel rooms as I mentioned above, in this thread). Sometimes I have been paid back. Sometimes I have been paid back with interest. Sometimes I have been paid back in cash. Other times in service. Other times, I lost the money. But I knew my risk when I said yes. I feel no obligation to tell others I loaned someone money and they didn't pay me back. If my brother in law asks for a loan and I say yes then I don't get paid back, should I broadcast that too? Or "backchannel" it?a simple no will guarantee that individual wont be presented with the opportunity to fuck you.
What do you do on a first date?
Why didn't you write a review, instead of asking what could have possibly gone wrong?
Next time I will be prepared for a request like that. Sure is difficult to say no after a pretty amazing session. Glad I did though.
Tobi, since you're one class act, I would offer if the circumstances presented themselves, because you're too fine a lady to cause trouble for a gentleman.
I let a stripper stay in my room once when I left in the morning. She was there for the next two weeks. She was a great pice of ass and the cost of the room service was well worth it. Also got a few referrals to service a few other "dancers" from Ricks
Cabaret. It was the time of my life I was young and hung, now I am old and have to pay for it. My advice to the young men,
If you like banging hot young pussy Save some money for your old age.Sorry I got so far off topic.
As for the rest, you're deluded, as usual. And, as one of the "guys who treat 'you' like shit," I don't want you to give me a damn thing. I don't play in your neck of the woods anyway and wouldn't trust your recommendations if I did. I've seen you recommend two women lately you'd never even been with, after all.
'm saying there are others here who might benefit. So because you're having a hissy fit on the boards, you deny people you don't even know some useful information. Nice.
That's MY acronym, I am simply renting to Inicky.
