Most Romantic Encounter and/or Most Intense Encounter

A question for the providers.......

What was the most romantic hobby encounter you ever had which would rival a Disney movie in the wish fulfillment department?

On the flip side, which encounter was the most intense while still being enjoyable?  Maybe something that was a little darker than you normally like, but which was pushing all your buttons just right.....

Not an evasive answer but just the truth.  I've had many romantic encounters and certainly dinner dates or holidays fall more into that category than anything else as there is more time to get to know each other and possibly build on anticipation...

Most romantic places I've ever been on bookings (and pretty much under any circumstances) are the Maldives and Jamaica.

As for what you describe as the flip side, well, when I feel so hot I'm dying for the client to knock on the door, I've got a full supply of batteries and he's in the same mood it rocks!  ;)

Sorry, Carrie, but Jamaica is just soooo crass and commercial.  Maybe you were somewhere where it wasn't  - I hope!  Now, the Maldives, yes...but if we're playing that "What's the most romantic place" game consider:

--- the phosphorescent bay in Vieques, off Puerto Rico's East Coast;
--- Anse Chastenet in St. Lucia;
--- Lamu or Zanzibar;
--- The Seychelles....

the Plaza Athenee, dinner at Alain Ducasse and close access to the Rue Faubourg St. Honore is more your style, isn't it?

Maybe a picnic up on a hillside vineyard in Volnay, overlooking the town at sunset.  Along with a pleasant little Domaine de Pousse'd'Or premier cru, bought directly from the producer in his domaine right at the bottom of the hill.

I'm heading down the block to support my local culinary artist at the University of Del Taco. Scorcho? Yes please, I'll take a fistful.

What? no Orchardo Beach in the Bronx Riviera?

BTW, Turk...I just loved  your history of hobbying. It brought back a few memories.

Cheers!

Turkana, the question was not about the most romantic place but about romantic hobby encounters.

In the Maldives I was on the most expensive trip I could dream of - 3 weeks in a desert island paradise and something I'll remember fondly forever because I had an idyllic time with a lovely man.  In Jamaica, I was at a wonderful hotel with a wonderful man.  Not the most expensive or exotic place or hotel I've visited but with lovely romantic memories which I'll savour in my rocking chair in my old age :)

Please do give more detail.......... :)

3 Weeks????? With a paying hobbyist?

How is Bill Gates doing these days, anyway?

Hmmmmm, there was this guy I met within the first month I started here in SD, he was very handsome, and fun.  He was a bit of a newbie and was on a HUGE rampage and was collecting quite a few reviews when he suddenly dissapeared and so did his handle and reviews (I fear he had an encounter with the boogie men in blue).  I saw him 5 times, but the best was he had the Presidential suite at Paradise Point in SD and it was just magical the way he had things laid out for a girl.  Food, wine, strawberries, robes that he'd let you take, the works.  This place had 2 fire places going, but he also produced 5 Rolling Stones tickets and took me and 3 other girlfriends.  That date was 3 days.  Boy was he adorable.  I wonder what happened to him.  Doooooo miss him.  Met him in Newport Beach one time that was equivelant as well.

There was a very very cool Vietnam Vet back in the day too that was paralyzed from the waist down from his war injury.  Toy show, fashion show with sexy stuff, dancing, and lots of kissing and hugging was really the best you could do for him.  He was a cool guy.  Of course this wasn't the most romantic.  But he was one of the finest, most cheerful guys I ever met in or out of the hobby considering his circumstance.  I used to visit him all the time off the clock.  Extremely gracious man.

I have never had the chance to go on the beautiful Jamaican, European thousands of dollars trip...........Yet......... :)

I figured there might be a FEW encounters that were tripping the cranial circuit breakers in an unexpected way, but it sounds like mostly "champagne wishes and caviar dreams..." scenarios that are the only memorable ones for you ladies...

dude-

they are getting paid!  The sex is probably not that mind blowing about 99% of the time, maybe never.  While  the settings linger in the mind.

Remember the line "the only thing men are good for- they're not good AT!"

That may be the case for some (or even most of them if you're THAT cynical), but there has to be at least a few unusual encounters that went beyond the expected experience.

The dollars may be the primary reason for many, but there are several that are in it for the rush, the adventure, etc.
