I see some women requesting first name, last name, home and work phone numbers, driver's license and other ID verification.  And apparently some men comply.  

No offense, but have these guys lost their minds?  Give your true personal ID info to a hustler in an illegal business who can either blackmail you, harass you or one day be required by police to reveal your information and thus subject you to extreme reputational loss at best and loss of relationship and/or career at worst?  Are you thinking that the chances are low so what the hell, or just not thinking?  Chances of getting AIDS from bareback sex with a prostitute are low, but would you ever consider doing it?  Or are you reassured by their promises to keep your info private (despite the fact that Heidi Fleiss, the DC Madam and every other prostitute who turned state witness to save herself all made the same promises)?  

Besides, with all the elaborate screening procedures involved on some women's websites -- screening forms, emails, references, photos, etc. -- it seems like you could get a real woman for free off a dating service for about the same investment of time and effort.
