there's more...

While the outside world views this negatively all those things you mentioned are pretty commonplace here. A couple more that come to mind..

Therapist
Ego Booster

and occasionally, friend

A potential client might better be referred to as a suitor.

The term lady friend might be a respectable way to refer to a woman, and gentleman friend for a man, without implying any degree of personal intimacy such as boyfriend and girlfriend suggests.

A suitor then, might arrive as a client, and leave as a gentleman friend.

Or, instead of "client," a suitor might be referred to either as a gentleman caller or simply as a "visitor," and THEN leave as a gentleman friend.

I prefer "lady friend" and "gentleman friend" to provider, ATF, or regular, or anything like that, but some men might feel it's too stuffy.

I will also answer to "trick" and "john."

but not in the "killed, butchered and cooked it" type of eating, more of the "DATGY" (Dining at the Goat's Y) kind of way.

I think he said something about it "tasting like pineapple" which leads me to ask "Did you cream pie that goat?"

And a really good goat will turn around afterwards and lick me clean.  I think it was after that she DFK'd Tardwell.

That publication is actually called "rabble"  ? There is even a USW union ad on the page.

I don't consider the technical terms derogatory, others might I don't.
