For me it isn't on purpose, since I'm a bit of a health freak I make my own soap from natural coconut and tea tree oil. I also drink 2 glasses of cranberry juice everyday, I have heard it keeps it sweet and it sure does. I've heard from so many people my sweet taste is pretty darn good.

What I'm describing is more of a flavor on the outside of the skin in the neighborhood, not down in the pink,  After about three seconds, the "sweet" is gone and the natural takes over which is perfectly fine by me.

Maybe it really is just a little left over body wash or something else unintentional.  It's subtle, no doubt, I just thought it was preplanned or part of a prep routine.
