Came across a provider website who states she has reviews on a couple of other sites but was banned from TER. Was surprised to see someone advertise they have been banned.
Are we allowed to inquire here as to the reason someone got banned, or is that confidential?
Ok, since I'm often a smart-ass, let me rephrase before the smart-asses reply....yes, I know I can inquire, but more to the point will TER respond/explain?
if you're going to take all the smart ass answers away, but to answer your question. No
TER will not even permit mentioning the banned provider by name, it's a policy I wish they would reverse. If a provider was banned for self reviews or some other type of fraudulent activity, I for one would like to know.

Zisk, I got myself and a provider banned last year when both of us were new by signing in to my account on her computer so she could read some of the VIP reviews. I posted a note about it on the boards and had a number of both ladies and gentlemen tell me they had done the same thing (and also were banned).
I believe the reason though most ladies are banned is because there were "bogus" reviews generated using the provider's computer. (In my situation, there was never any correspondence written of any type while signed in on her computer. As you can see, I have been reinstated, she still has not - have no idea why not)
I'm sure that reviews that are thought to have been faked are the #1 reason for a banning, but probably not the only reason.
Maybe someone has a bad day and says some innapropriate things on the boards -- which could be completely out of character. Or for some other reasons I can't even think of off-hand.
I do recall reading about your situation last December when TER was offering to re-instate. I've never done that myself, but I certainly see how one might just not be thinking through the implications and inadvertenly make the mistake you did. After all, we probably have let other people use their accounts at other sites on our machines without it being a big deal, and then forgetting that such a situation would not apply here.
Unless you have a dog in the fight, leave it be. If you are curious, contact said provider or hobbyist at your leisure. TER "owns" all of said property including your screen name(s), your posts, your reviews etc... Knowing that, you are not looking for a democratic process are you? Well, TER owes us nothing but to make best efforts to host the site and give you access to VIP if you pay or earn it through writing reviews. Hobbyists and Providers are de-listed, banned, moderated... ALL the time... What else is new? I don't think you should worry about those that are impacted. There is always another board, another venue... TER is but one corner of the sex industry universe (albeit, one of the best) and when people violate rules, they get asked to leave. You can't save a fool from trying to piss in his cheerios (a sign, seen in a bar).

I'm not sticking up for that provider; I don't even know her. Nor am I demanding that TER spill the beans, I was just wondering what their policy is on that. Now I know.
the lady in question was probably tired of people asking her why she's not reviewed on TER and put up there that she was banned. I'll bet it's her way of saying she's reputable and delivers as promised (not a ROB) but doesn't appear on TER because of her banishment.

she is no longer listed by TER and I forget if it was that she was banned or asked to be removed.... kinda like MOSES... with Ramses.... "let the name Moses be stricken from every obelisk, from every tablet and from every mural. Let the Name Moses..." well you get the picture.

his take in the movie "Omega Man" ruined the concept that was so brilliantly portrayed by Vincent Price in "The Last Man Alive" - fortunately we have Will Smith to thank for restoring the humanity and concepts back in the remake "I Am Legend" - which is equal (maybe even better than Price's take on the story.
But I digress.... want a good laugh - see "the agony and the ecstacy" where the one dimensional heston portrays Michaelangelo... Bwahahahahaha... the 3 Stooges could not create such slapstick...
