How many of you are bold enough to be browsing TER or other escort websites while on a plane?   say maybe in the middle seat with some potentially nosy neighbors?!?  :)  Would welcome any recent experiences.

I prefer a window
since I don't want
a plane.

You own the airline, you make the rules.

We would not know until someone takes them to court. Marriott had a similar policy and someone did take them court and Marriott lost.

but only some airlines allow it. Delta for example does allow you to access TER, but American and United for example do not.

and for the record, I  NEVER sit in the middle seat, but if I am in a seat where others can look over my shoulder and see what is on my screen, I will only use the discussion boards and won't open any links that might contain nudity. Doing so will only ensure that TER will be blocked the next time I fly that airline.

Post the link, because I choose not to believe that.

They "settled"... and were not found to be in violation of any law.

The question is can you access TER on a Marriott property?

I have enough Marriott points for a free month pretty much anywhere. Been Gold Elite for years !
But I stopped staying at Marrotts when the property I frequently booked in Tyson's Corner Va began to block TER.

Are you guys saying Mariotts no longer are doing this?

I would assume that Marriott stil blocks TER, and no longer blocks personal WiF devices, that's how the article I skimmed through, read.

I'll gladly take my business elsewhere, if I feel a business is discriminating against my person for what ever reason.

I am not responsible for either their snooping or their possibly prurient sensibilities.

And BTW... if you simply use a VPN, you can access sites that may be blocked and keep the airline/hotel etc.. from spying on your browsing.

I can't speak for all Marriott's but I was in Redneck Wichita Falls Texas and didn't have an issue

i have a mobile hotspot, always have fast connection and the hotels I stay at have zero input into what I can or cannot view in the privacy of the room that I've rented.

Easy fix. Nothing worthwhile is ever free, including internet connections.
