I went to see Spiderman 2. It's a beautifully done movie with human side of the hero exposed - and it can really hit the heart. The ending made my eyes teary. You gotta go see it!!!

and watch "Before Sunrise" on video tonight and see "Before Sunset" in the theatres tomorrow.  Nyah nyah.

Besides, Julie Delpy is an angel.

Oh BTW..."Farenheit 9/11" being #1 at the box office last weekend made me cry, too. :P

Farenheit is quite glorious.  I didn't cry though.  I growled.

Besides, you were only growling through "F 9/11" cuz you were thinking of Nettie. :)

As for "Before Sunrise", I could turn the sound down for the whole movie and still love it just spending 90 minutes looking at the radiant Ms. Delpy.

Here we were, relaxing in between rounds, drinking champagne, when the client mentioned how impressed he was with "Fahrenheit."

The other lady started to say a few comments from the other political side. Uh oh, Danger, Will Robinson.

Trying to be diplomatic, I swiftly took matters into my hands (and tongue) to change the subject immediately from one Bush to another.

Close call, LOL.

I have to agree with loverofwoman, the scene of the people passing him hand to hand to set him down after he'd stopped the train was very powerful. He'd stretched himself above and beyond his limits ,literally, to save their lives. Each grateful for a second chance, and in return all willing to defend him at the possible cost of their own lives, while facing someone obviously well beyond their own abilities, was amazing!! Very well done!! I'd def. see it again!

It made me cry too!  For real, I think people were looking at me funny when I teared up.  :)  My sweet little cockateil had died earlier in the week, so I was very emotional about seeing death and the feelings of responsibility floating around!  And then with the luv troubles!  OMG.  I did love the movie.

LOL, some very moving scenes in the end. Sorry about your pet dying. The 'raindrops keep falling on my head' scene was refreshing though.

1 - The Color Purple
2 - Forrest Gump
3 - Mask (not the Jim Carrey one, the one with Eric Stoltz and Cher)
4 - Steel Magnolias

I hardly ever cry in movies unless it involves children or animals being harmed.  Those are the only things that make me tear up, unless outside forces are at work.  I know someone that only gets emotional in war flicks...  Someone that bawls in romance films...  Endless triggers, and the movies just keep getting more and more impressional.

Awesome movies this summer.  Spiderman 2 and Shrek 2 are my favorites.  I'm going to have to put Shrek above Spiderman, though. Sorry!  Sorry!
