... but it does, unfortunately.

Can it be prevented? In many ways, it can. Reviews and back channeling can minimize the possibility of you "wasting your money" on a session, but it's not fool-proof.

All my sessions have been at least decent and often much better than that.

Even before the internet I'd say 90% of the sessions were at least half decent, but there were a few that were ones or twos in there, mostly at MPs.

How did you pick your handle? Is it your initials then your junior high school then the year you graduated from there? To answer your question, only once. It was a BP girl without a TER review. I was out out town, horny & she was close by.

you can't get hard unless you are

that's my guess, anyway, considering your posting history.

You enjoy feeling remorseful more than you enjoy good sex.

It would be only natural to have disappointing experiences.  I can think of restaurants or purchases I felt we wastes in the last year or so.   (I paid a lot for a hand made jacket done by a tailor I had never used before and I refused even to take it home, it was such a bad fit)  but not in the hobby.  I had been inactive due to a serious log affair with a wonderful and jealous lady, but that ended  and in the last 10 months or so, I have seen a number of providers and I walked away from each feeling really happy.  Of course TER has really made it possible to avoid unhappy surprises.

"serious log affair"?   You crack me up. 8o)

So glad to hear that you are still going strong despite the break up.

All my best to you.

20-30 years ago, I had a few complete waste of money experiences, but none in really long time. At least not with any particular provider. However I do find myself occasionally regretting spending so much money on the hobby. I can't believe I spent x amount last month or last year etc., but if I think of the individual provider or session, they were all great.

You have met her, my dear friend and I think understand why my first thought, when I think of her, was a log.  In her presence and even at my advanced age, ....well you understand.

Had one agency girl who didn't want me to touch her pussy or fuck, said it hurt.  She didn't indicate that it was from a previous client, more like a yeast infection or something.  She was grudgingly willing to give me a blow job, but I told her to forget it and bailed.  Let her keep the money.  Told the agency booker that I wouldn't be using their service any more.  I regret telling them that now that I now how some agencies treat their girls, but didn't know better back then.
Had another one that was a BP girl, turned out to be a couple crack whores, that was a nightmare.  Now I know how to prevent those situations - TER.
Both these were very early in my hobbying "career".

$20k/year is way out of my comfort range, but I see no acceptable alternative...   I don't usually ignore things like that, but on this one, I'm making an exception.  What's the saying about blowing a fortune "I spent half on women and whiskey, the other half I wasted..."

I am seriously trying to figure out how to deduct my regular.  She has helped me in a few very important ways and my urologist said that I needed to ejaculate twice a week to prevent my spermatocoele from causing problems.  The alternative is surgery, so maybe I can get my urologist to write me a prescription for her

"remorse" can be an indicator of an 'emotional' hole not being filled. Providing "emotional" fulfillment is not in a providers job description.

Keep in mind that hobbying is about discrete, wanton, unabashed sex with a decidedly metered and temporal amount of intimate human communication. If you had a great 'sexual' time with a provider; but you feel depressed, unfulfilled and 'remorseful' soon after you're possibly "Looking for love in all the wrong places".

She was smoking hot with a very fit body. Followed a strict diet regime and had good genes. Completely natural tits that looked like they were fake. The only problem probably was she had bad breath.

Oh yea and that other time with a high volume lady who didn't wipe completely or shower after defecating. She whipped her butt up for entry and that whiff...too strong, have to bail.

I had buyer's remorse after a session with an extremely well-reviewed TER provider. For whatever reason she just didn't connect with me and it was an awkward 1.5 hours. So yes, it happens, and it can happen with a TER lady.
