It seems that BP ads links have been pulled from every girls profile. Did some shit go down or something? Just curious if nothing else.

BP ads must be associated with criminal activity.

I see there are "indipendent" listings of ter reviewed girls. Those must be the sights that are allowed.

I haven't seen many of them, nor have I read their reviews. I wouldn't need to see the reviews to book with the ones I'm attracted to.

Do you mean the Top 100?  Or do you mean the women who post on this board?  If the former, don't you want to check their reviews to see how they perform?  Or click on the link to their site to see what they look like?  If the latter, if you like the way they post do you not care what they look like?  Or the way they perform? You really need to be clearer re what U R talking about.

I asked a Mod's about it and their policy is if a lady has another ad out, they will pull the British Petroleum link and replace it with the other ad.

Also over the next few weeks they are no longer going to allow anything that links to British Petroleum

I believe that Visa and Mastercard do not accept payment from BP and maybe craig's list. As I understand it the only way to pay  BP  and CL is with BitCoin.

it's Beyond Petroleum.

Like I already stated I understand TER's motive, but it seems this will only make reviews less valuable, since new/unestablished ladies(minus a personal website) will have no way of being reviewed.

Given TER's offshore status, why is TER pandering to the wishes/desires/rules of the U.S. lawmakers?

I am well aware that there are some parts of the country where "British Petroleum" is the only place to advertise. Unfortunately that place has become a haven for pimps, druggies and other unsavory types to advertise.

I use TER and P411 to find high quality ladies. Most of "BP" is comprised of low quality girls. Some are not of legal age. Just because we are mongers and hookers does not mean we have to condone unsavory activity. I applaud the top level decision to exclude "BP" from TER.

I understand that reasoning for pulling the links from British Petroleum, I have also noticed that since the visa debacle started many of my top providers stopped posting ads on BP as well. Does anyone know where or what site  these ladies might start posting on instead? Many of them are not on P411. Thanks

I'm neither for or against the decision. I just think their will be less reviews, and or need for reviews. Thus leaving the site a advertising site, which I thought TER wanted to distant itself from the notion of being.

I have to agree with you.  I think TER will be a better place in the long run without all of the stuff associated with BP girls.  Which is usually PIMPs and LE busts.  However, I am sure LE will start looking for other ways to try and infiltrate TER so we will need to be careful moving forward.  I applaud this move although I am sure there are many guys here who only see BP girls that will not like it.

If a provider profile page has links to ads other than BP, the BP link has been deleted.  If a BP ad link is the ONLY link on a provider's profile page, it remains.

The one problem I'm seeing though is that although most of these providers have other ads and/ or websites the British oil co. ad is often the only one they keep up to date. When they pull the said ad it leaves the profile with  outdated ads that have outdated info.

My man, all a lady has to do is use one of the free sites for a web page. And if they can't even do that..............

As for some time any question or mention of this change saw threads deleted and PM's go unanswered.

It is already leading to dramatically less reviews in my area.  I can' review the last couple of providers I would like to submit a review for now.

Would be nice if they would post some information regarding these alternative sites that some say remove the need to rely on the banned site.  In my experience, not all providers ads from the banned site can be found there.

How many will no longer get VIP status anymore because of this as well?  If this change is something TER thinks it can justify, why not step up to keep their own customers visiting TER?

Do not understand how they could be next unless they aren't as safe as they claim to be.  There are ways to pay TER that aren't as directly vulnerable IMO.

I have found some ladies are quite a bit sharper than you think.  They just believe--and have some experience to suggest this--that they can't get business advertising elsewhere.  If you don't believe that, I am sure that people all over the country can attest to seeing well reviewed providers who do have websites that run BP ads--when they are traveling outside major metro areas.  I see this all the time.

Otherwise there is still a connection between BP and TER.

The funny thing about this decision is that many BP advertisers don't want reviews.

Is TER going to distance itself from reviewers who previously reviewed ladies from BP? Many of them have also reviwed TER only ladies.

What is the policy on ladies who have websites and TER reviews, that also place BP ads? If their reviews stay up there will still be a conection between both sites.

and like any other business of it's kind, keeping it's merchant accounts open and having the ability to get paid through CC billing is hugely important. Losing that ability would most likely cost TER millions of dollars a year. If you ran TER, what would you do in the face of perhaps losing your ability to accept CC's?

I don't agree with everything TER does, as a matter of fact I disagree with a LOT they do, but I have a hard time disagreeing with this business decision. I am sure they didn't make it lightly.

They are still allowing BP ladies to be reviewed but will only post the PB link if she has no other ad or site. Thank you TER. I get your concern and you found a reasonable compromise.

Reviews are to protect us guys. Some ladies don't give a damn if we can screen them or not. Plus those free sites are a nightmare. Just look at the great many threads on it over the last few months. If I only seen ladies with web sites I wouldn't have seen many ladies and would have missed out on many of the best. This is the waste land of the hobby here in Utah. This isn't Vegas, Atlanta, or NY we are addressing.

But TER is still allowing PB reviews if the lady has no site or other ads so it is a mute point

Many posters in this thread are trying to sell this change in policy as a moral cause, because addicts and pimps advertise on BP(there's nothing stopping those people from placing ads on TER)

Just because TER is distancing itself from BP, that doesn't mean the CC companies won't go after TER and refuse to process CC charges per TER.

The offshore status is also in vain regarding the issue of obeying the CC companies stipulations.

I'm not that concerned, as I don't write reviews, or give much credence to the reviews that have been written.

I was told by my bank that the reason they did not allow the BP purchases was because of credit card abuse and disputes, not because of BP being affiliated with other types of illegal activities, like pimps, pandering, or prostitution.

I been ripped off three times already by using my credit card on BP.   rmation.  Each time whoever ripped me off made small purchases on Amazon.com until my card was empty, like about $30 worth.

You forgot to mention that some people want to limit their digital footprint by not having a website. These are probably the same people who don't want reviews to begin with, but those are the most valuable reviews.

Like I said before established TER celebs don't need reviews, the ladies you never heard of do.

The thing that surprises me is how does one sheriff of one county, have so much control over big companies like Visa and Mastercard? It's not like the FBI did this. It is the sheriff of Cook County.

Simply now there are vehicles in place to enforce them.

The battle over this has been happening for some time...and I simply don't see it easing up anytime soon.

If there was enough money in this for CC companies they may have again told LE (or TD in this case) to go fuck themselves (again).

Can you think of a better way to get brownie points as a litigator than showing how someone (like the voting public) has shut down a major "trafficker"?  Maybe he got some help from Donnie Trump?

This just made it much more dangerous for those who are trafficking victims by pushing the problem more underground.  It's now going to be much harder to find and help victims.

I'm concerned about the not so professional ladies...the majority of these ladies don't screen or take any safety percautions.

The whole BP situation just got even more dangerous with little hope for help.
