Review information -- do some notunderstand limits?

Noticed a review that struck me as having no business as being published as written. As a non-VIP I'm not talking about the details but the general information. I'm not going to say which review but here is what I have big questions about: the reviewer claims the provider is part time and works of _name of company_ in X capacity. The actual company is named and probably known to most people who do any international travel -- or just pay attention in airports.

Why would somoene put that in the review? Adds zero value to anyone but increases potential risks for everyone.

Why would TER approve such a review. I recally year ago when one of my reviews got a reviese and resubmit rejection because I mentioned the city a provider originally comes from - "home town" type of comment. That was not like naming some small town but a fairly large city in a foreign country.

What do people think about putting that type of rea world (assuming it's true -- not sure I would believe it but...) in a completely public section of the review (don't even need to log in to see this)? What about TER publishing that type of review?

Any type of personal information should not be in a review.
Admin isn't perfect. A lot slips by.

Not sure there's anything to really discuss here. Your point is obvious. Seek justice for her.

Long ago I posted a review stating the exit number off a highway that I saw a gal at, and even that was TMI by TER's standards back then.

I guess things are slipping in that department.

Yes, I had something similar.  I said it wasn't far off of I-75 in certain city and it the review was denied.  I didn't say which exit, or whether it was East or West of the highway or specifically how far but still had to delete that reference as if someone could determine the exact location of the thousands of properties one passes to get to it.

Re: That is incredible that TER would not have put the kibosh on that...

Maybe every 20th or 50th or whatever review posts automatically bc they are shorthanded maybe? That would seem highly unlikely but it also seems highly unlikely TER would miss this very personal info and allow it to stay in the review.

48-72 hours to get reviews through moderation.  If there was a shortcut, I think someone here would post, "Hey, by review went live in 3 hours" because it would indeed be out of the ordinary.  However, with the advances in AI, who knows when things might change.

With that said, at times of high volume, I do believe that mods are trained to look for the acronyms that are worth extra points above the standard 7.  The main concern is that all of the points a reviewer is awarding must be included in the narrative as activities that were actually performed by the provider.  So, while scanning the review for BBBJ, DFK, and Anal, occasionally, the context of whether or not she actually provided that might be missed.  For instance., if a review said, "I waited and waited for DFK, but he didn't subsequently say he got it, it would be an honest mistake by a mod, and maybe an extra point was allowed when it shouldn't have.  If you come across approved reviews where the narrative and service score doesn't match, a problem report can solve this in most cases.

towards lack of checking review content, I wonder at what point civil or criminal liability comes into play?

You are absolutely right, that has no business being published. Not in general or VIP-only, or anywhere online. Ridiculous.

It’s truly astonishing how stupid some people involved in this business can be. TER should know better though. Good job reporting it, hopefully they take it down soon.

Some of the stories I’ve heard about the idiots providers have to deal with…. ugh.

So, to answer your question, no some people just don’t understand. What I don’t understand is how some of these people don’t look up at the sky and drown when it rains. That’s how ignorant some of them are.

First of all, let's start with the fact that there are MANY colleges and universities in NYC:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_colleges_and_universities_in_New_York_City
To say that someone "attends college in NYC" really doesn't narrow down their location w/o more info.
.
Several years ago, I was a frequent guest at an apartment shared by several hostesses in NYC. The apartment was a block or two from some of the main (landmark) buildings of one of those colleges. Some of the hostesses I knew were students at that well known college.
.
Someone successfully posted a review that said something like, "[Escort Name] is an [Academic Department] major at [Name] College, right around the corner from the apartment. ..." that matched the info that I knew about her, too. I contacted TER Admin immediately and the review was taken down. As I recall, it was resubmitted and approved with the personal identifiable info removed.
.
The review, combined with her real unblurred pics in her ads, would have outed her immediately to classmates and professors (and custodians and librarians and others) who used TER.
.
Yeah, some stuff slips through but TER should be notified immediately in order to take action to minimize the damage ... if it's not too late already.

I dont know how ter reviews the reviews that are submitted, but it's not the first nor the last time this happens.

Remember when I was still on covid hiatus I sent you and GaGambler a pm about someone putting the actual location address in the location field in one of kgirl reviews? And it didn't look like it was deliberately malicious. And it passed through the review process. Twice because another review of another girl in same agency also had the same location info.
