I have this obsession with shoes- however, They never fit me when I get home ! LOL.. I have small feet.. size 5 ! I find a shoe that fits me and I'll buy them in all the neutrals , blue, black,brown, white. A week later they dont fit me..Toes hangin out the front, fit a babies foot in the back. They never look like this in the shoe store. hahaha

Ever see that movie? Leprachaun ? Scary horror flick  ( not really ) A little leprachaun that goes around polishing shoes frantically, then kills people ?

Denver, is an open toe sandaled/heel sort of state.. none of mine fit me correctly LOL

NYC, is a Joan Collin shoe type city, none of mine fit correctly !  LOL

Phoenix ? Im not sure what their official shoe is .. hahahaha...

But I need new shoes and wear to buy ? What good quality to buy ?

Jimmy Choo, Christian Louboutin, Rene Caovilla.  Seriously, Ive found the most comfortable shoes and most well made are these.  You get what you pay for.  My most favorite pair of simple black heels are Balenciaga which I bought for $500. And they are going to last me years and years and I wear them all the time, they are so comfortable. (as long as you keep good care of them, ie..replace the heel tip, replace the soles ect..).   And there is something about paying $400-$500 for a pair of shoes that makes you really take care of them.  Go to Saks or Barneys.

Ahh shoes... one of my favorite subjects.  Ciara, it's true what AnotherNYCProvider said about buying good shoes. There is a big difference in quality but also I don't think you need to spend $500 for every pair.  I've found many nice mid priced ones in Macy's, Filene's, Lord and Taylor, etc.

I read somewhere once that your feet are larger at the end of the day so the evening might be a good time for you to go shopping and get resized; maybe you're wearing the wrong size.

Youre probably wearing the wrong size.  I would go up a half size. Actually, you can hit up the sales.  I went to Saks over the weekend to look for a pair of black heeled sandles.  Guess what?!  They were having a huge shoe sale and I found a pair of Jimmy Choo black heeled sandles for $200!  They were normally $450. Im getting excited just thinking about it!  Definately hit the sales.

I love shoes and will pay almost anything for a pair I love. The key to being a shoe girl is not caring the color or style of shoe. I go out shoe shopping, she a shoe that catches my eyes. Once I try it on there has to be a feeling of "YES", then I buy it. If there is any doubt then I don't. And I will wear almost any shoe with any outfit. Manolos to the grocery store , Gucci snadals to the bar. Shoes to me are more about mood, not coordinating with my outfit.

But do not wear heels everyday. Bad on those footies. LOL And ShoeGirls, remember weekly peicures are mandatory!

who said I spend frivolously?  I have just as many expenses plus I save most of my money.  I treat myself to a new pair of shoes about every 2 months.  And when it comes to my feet, Id rather pay the big money and have the proper support and soft leather rather than buy cheaply.  And its just been my experience that the more expensive designer shoes are made much better, last much longer, and hug your feet better. Whenever Ive gotten cheaper shoes, they just either fall apart or they give my feet blisters because of the cheap leather. I guess i just prefer quality over quantity.

Not only do I look silly, I look HOT! I had really big feet as a child. My parents were sure I was going to be super tall. Well, my feet continued to grow until size 9.5. I stopped growing at age 11, been 5'2 ever since.

Blahniks do look great, and if you've got ginormous flippers like me (size 41) then decent, well constucted high heels are essential.  But, there are plenty of gorgeous shoes for less than half of that.

It sounds like your problem is that your feet are wider than a standard B fitting.  That can stretch the shoe after even 2 or 3 wears and cause 'toe vomit' where the toes spew out the end of the shoe.  If that's the case, you have two options, 1) get your shoes custom made which is initially expensive but not too outrageous from then on (and the shoes last longer because they fit and the pressure is more evenly distributed)or 2) go for a closed toe if the heel height is over 2cms.   Or do what I do and opt for bare feet or my trusty RM Williams boots and save the heels for essential occasions only.
