My one thing I've learned is men in the hobby are much more fulfilling than any *civvy* as you gentlemen call it.

I've learned quite a few very important things in this hobby but the one that stands out is that if you have too high of expectations you have a very good chance of being disappointed. I'm not saying that the individual you see won't provide a wonderful time for you at all it's that your expectations may be greater than what you get. Enter with an open mind and positive attitude and your experience will be a good one.
If you are depending on anyone other than yourself to bring you happiness then you are fooling yourself. My thoughts.

Among the many things that this hobby has helped me accomplish, better communication would be my "one thing". This has improved my relationships with friends, family, coworkers, and of course SO's. It is quite interesting to me what I can get out of the hobby experience, being so close and intimate almost forces me to be very open and honest with someone I just met.

I can say that I am much happier after I started participating in the hobby, and this has not gone unnoticed. It helps keep my spirits high and generally a more positive outlook on life.

Trust, honesty, loyalty, and compassion also come to mind; alright I've learned more than just one thing. But the hobby time makes me see things in a different perspective and reflect on some important issues in life.

best regards, mr.man

Oh, and thanks to the ladies for being there to share this with me, you are valued and appreciated, even if I may not say it in so many words, what you do means a lot to me.

I am more open, a better listener, and am generally a warmer and more accepting human being.

This has been noticed by everyone I encounter at work and in my off-hours.

Plus, as I am in sales, all of this has increased my income too...

But the BEST thing I got out of this was that my SO noticed the improvement in our relationship right away.  Rather than play the role of the wronged girlfriend, SHE DECIDED TO HOBBY ALONG WITH ME (S. has bi tendencies) and our relationship (which some might consider strange) and sex life have never been better..

Now she tells me that she may want to become a part-time PROVIDER...stay tuned.
