So what if you are not sexually attracted to your spouse/so ?  I know I love my wife but she doesn't look like she used to, so I play around. It makes me nicer to her.  Then again I'm no spring chicken and probably don't look quite as good as I once did (cough, cough, AHEM) so .....I wonder how I would feel if my wifey started seeing some young boy toys.  I don't think I'd mind, it would make us more open with one another, might even turn me on to watch her getting pounded and enjoying it.  How would you feel

I prefer the "I'll be pounding your wife and you won't know" approach.  But then again, I'm a rotten bastard.

I was using humor to avoid the uncomfortable issue that not being able to make love to someone you adore's heart and soul because of physical beauty seems a little emotionally frail to me.

(And sure I "get" wanting to fool around with babes just for the thrill and the sex.  Or being a bit tired of the same person in the bedroom for decades.  And going so far as to break marriage vows because sex is a liberating, healing thing and if you're not getting it at home you're not healing or very much liberated.)

I get all that.

But he seems to be blaming it on her looks.  
Making sex only about the physical and not about the emotion in his relationship with his wife.  I wouldn't fall in love with him all over again if I found that out.  I'd stick a fork in his heart and see if I can find it.

But then again, I love that he awknowledged that it's a two way street in the physical deterioration department.  There's hope.  So maybe I can fall in love with him all over again as well.  That blustery romantic fool that took a speck of grit from my eye with his handkerchief and made love with me under the bridge just before I caught my train home that Thursday in Spring.
