How about scores for professionalism ?

A recent conversation with a provider brought up the idea of  numerical scoring for a providers overall professionalism. Issues such as response time to the first phone call/e-mail;  Sensitivity and discretion in the screening process. Even attention to details such as wardrobe requests could be factors of consideration in this catagory.
Being that many of these issues are regularly discussed on these boards it would seem that having a 1 to 10 rating for a ladies work ethic would be a welcome addition to the reviews that would benifit the hobbyists as well as the ladies who consistantly strive for excelence.

 FR.

Ratings for looks and performance already seem to be so subjective.  And I've seen too many posts from reviewers who think the ratings are over-inflated and providers who feel they were unfairly scored.  Having a score for professionalism can be a nightmare.  How do you score response time?  10 for response under an hour?  Does this penalize popular ladies who have more calls and email to respond to?  Should you compare independent providers with those who work for agencies?  If this category were really important to the hobbyists, I would expect to see more comments pertaining to this in the review details.  Instead of a vague, unsubstantiated number, I would rather see the provider's professionalism problems or praises (say that 3 times fast) elaborated in the write-up.

I'm with you FR................Professionalism matters to me almost as much as performance, and even more than looks.  Phone call and e-mail promptness and kindness, arriving on time, having clean linens, towels, etc.  These are critical to a perfect encounter.

Great idea,

Wow, We are the pinacle of the consumer chain. Where else do the consumer and supplier get so much direct contact before and after the sale?

Think about it? think if there was this much direct contact in any area we as consumers consumed? The list of service areas are endless. This is a marketing execs dream. Direct feedback... Wow!

I love the idea of professionalism ratings. It only serves to help the ladies improve their services and then demand more. I would pay more for perfection or at least the pursuit of it. There are so many analagies that I can think of, but I don't want to compare these ladies to anything.

FR, did you suggst this in the suggestion area? Please do!

Its now almost 8:00 and my date was supposed to be here at 6:00. No call, no e-mail.

There was mention of her tardiness in the ladies reviews, but nothing to indicate her total lack of communication or no-call/no-show.

BTW she had e-mailed me several confirmations, so I wasn't imagining this date.... LoL

I guess I'll go spend my thou somewhere else.

...we all agreed on the operational definition of "professional". It's sort of the same dilemma we have with rating looks---it depends on the rater's taste. My definition of professional in hobbying boils down to whether I got what was advertised. A provider with low marks on phone etiquette, promptness or attire, for example, might make up for it with an awesome attitude, which is all we really care about in the end. Good food for thought though.

We would serve ourselves well to just better utilize the "attitude" and "atmosphere" comment fields at the top of each review page. This is where I will first attempt to get a general idea of how "professional" a lady operates and conducts her business. Now I know that many put generic or ridiculous comments here, but you can get an immediate sense of whether the experience was a positve one or a complete ripoff.
Again, I will restate my position on reviews is to divide them into three basic categories of good, bad, and indifferent; it is simply a means of gathering information. The exact results will differ depending on too many variables, mainly the fact that you get out of the experience what you put into it. The ten point rating system is never really taken so literally by me, I just desire to know if she is providing the service as advertised and portrays herself accurately.
