Has anyone tried Inspiral condoms?

I saw someone asking about another brand of condom and not wanting to hijack his thread I'll ask my question here

Has anyone tried Inspiral condoms before?

They look kind of strange but the way I understand it the larger head makes for a more natural feeling than regular condoms

From what I could find they consistantly rate in the top ten of any "best of" condom reviews

My link has a picture and some information on them...sorry I couldn't find a place that had the info without being also someone who sold them too(I have NO affiliation with this company)

Are they worth trying out?

I used a couple boxes in my futile attempt to find a condom that didn't feel like a Playtex kitchen glove.

My findings were the looser fit in the head was a plus, but the base was a little narrow for me (but I think it's a standard 52mm).  They aren't thin (same as the standard .07mm condoms) and I found there was some thickness variation in the pack.  I tried some that I thought were pretty good- by that I mean I had a very vague sensation that I was inside a vagina, and when I looked down, sure enough, I was.  But another condom in the same pack was obviously thicker- to the point where I couldn't feel anything.  I opened up some others and could see the difference visually.  I guess all brands have some variation, but the thick one was really terrible.

So while the loose fit helps versus a standard design, they suck only slightly less than other condoms.  That is if you're old enough to remember what real sex feels like.  Sadly, there's no easy solution.  If you're going to wrap your penis in a nice layer of sensation dulling and heat insulating latex, you aren't going to feel shit.   I've basically quit hobbying because I've lost so much sensitivity over the years, I can no longer use a condom and maintain an erection (I'm 53 y.o.) without some additional help of some sort (I'm fine without, however).  So maybe I'm not the best judge here.

I find that Inspirals work best when you put a couple of drops of lube, like Astroglide, inside near the end before rolling it on. The extra slippage of the lubricated, looser-fitting end gives increased sensation. Another great condom is the Bareback brand. It is noticeably thinner and more sensitive than most others. I like to try them all at one time or another, and these two are my all-time favorites, especially when I get to use them with my all-time favorite!

There are also polyurethane condoms on the same website that claim to be the thinnest available.  Any experience with these??

I didn't like the feeling. Felt like I was using a sandwich bag.

Don't bother but if you want to, go do a search on google and find a company that sells mixed condoms, try them out and see if you like them.

Which? The Inspirol or the polyurethane?
