In light of JP's absence from TER...and other TER personalities that have not posted for sometime...
The following statement would probably ring true or false for most hobbyiests and providers?...I would think it applies less to providers.

Hey VR;
I guess that's the nature of this world.
People frequently come and go without any notice of their leaving.
I, too, do miss some of the "celebrities" we have had on these boards.
I miss the discussions, wit, and compassion that has been shown in the past.
Not that it's not here now, but, it just isn't quite the same.
Oh, well, life goes on and we all adapt and move along.
To those of you who I have corresponded with over the last year or so, thanks.
I miss reading your thoughts and ideas.
To those of you who are "new", welcome aboard.
I hope we can keep things lively and fun for everyone.

It was from reading the postings of some of the most inteligent and imaginative people that told me this is a good community. I have found the discourse interesting, we pull together to help when someone is down, there are (though we seem to have lost a few) some of the most interesting writers I have come across. Like JP some use humor fiction etc. others are thoughtful and able to look at things from multiple perspectives and give good sound advice. Sedona was one of the best and I miss her postings dearly,I love Emma Bond's unconventional approach, Coochmiester, MrSelfDestruct, and Lex Luethor (I was happy to see his return) always have well thought out postings that can be helpful,interesting, and or humorous. JP's Reports From The Field were always sure to bring a smile and a laugh even if I was feeling down. I do hope that he will return with his reports for as the responses so far to my thread indicate that I am far from being "on a short list" as stated by focusonyournut whom did not even have the nuts (balls) to post under real name.
HE is writing again!!!!!!! Great job FA. I also agree with this post as well, but don't forget Snowblind, VonRyan, bobb3950...etc....thank you for posting the thread. A.

... Jock's Reports from the Field, or the legendary Sedona of San Diego. But I enjoy his periodic postings. He's not really absent, you know, even though he may not be doing his "Reports" these days. Anyway, if Jock resumed posting 'em, I'd be hapopy to read 'em.
