I would guess a lot of people get tired of clicking on messages with no text in the "message" area, judging from all the clicks on posts with (eom) or (nt) in the subject line. Maybe not, but I just wanted to remind everyone who may not be familiar with it that (eom) and (nt) mean that you don't have to click on the post, that you have seen all the writer had to say in the subject line.
I know I do more than my fair share of (eom) postings, so I just don't want anyone to think they are getting their chain yanked.
For boards that I frequent, clicking on a messages turns it a different color. I usually click on every message - even ones that I won't read or that say eom - so I can easily see which messages are new.
That is also the main I click on these messages. In doing it I have found some messages with eom or nt in the header that have a message in the body. These are usually messages that are responses to a prior message with eom in the header and the writer didn't bother to change it.
If you entered my bed, the only thing that would need to be swept out would be my corpse...the one with the smile from ear to ear. And any crumbs from your cookie should be lovingly placed in the casket along with me. I shall put it in my will.
