I've been a TER member since early last Spring and recently let my VIP membership lapse. I've been very tardy with writing reviews of late and didn't realize it until one day, found myself a "basic" member.Good grief! All I can say is that with not having the details to read, PM's, and posting message capabilities...it was an inconvenience... basically "up the creek without a paddle". That being said, I would say that as far as my TER ID being introduced to the ladies goes...it has on occasion opened up some doors that might not have opened...a kind of "celebrity" status(smaller scale...OF COURSE) that also when new providers I see, do their "homework" on me ...they kind of know what I'm all about and what I LIKE...

I enjoy this site and these boards, but think overall that the world does not care much about us all.  I mean I have some LOLs with some people I meet here, and learn alot but know its all good fun.

Then I got a note here from a lady I visited who said

"so I met the infamous sully"

Quoi?  I am infamous?   Like anyone cares.

She's a total peach, and I thought she was the bomb, but it got me thinking...

Should I ID myself?  At sessions?  Right now only one lady is going to find out that I am actually Peter Parker- but I first talked with her on the site and our chats grew naturally.

Do the guys walk in and say "I'm JKM, suck me?"  Does needleD own up to it in flagrante delicto?  Wuoldn't the ladies dislike being likened to bugs?

What IS the protocol?

Peter Parker

or should it be Parker Peter

Where did I park my Peter?....

It is fun to know the man behind the handle. C'mon, it makes me always smile when I see my favs posts. I have never looked at bugs the same way since TER! However, I haven't met the Senor Needledick in the haystack yet, sadly.

Not sure if membership means much at an appointment but I agree, it's certainly all good fun and informative to be here.  I think the easiest way to identify yourself as your TER handle to a lady would be in your initial correspondence with her.  It might put her more at ease about meeting you, too.

Only reveal your identity when you think it do you some good.

Only reveal your handle if you don't care if the lady contacts any or all of the ladies you have previously reviewed in an effort to obtain more personal information about you.  Based upon a recent thread on this discussion board that is the reason that most ladies wish to get your handle as part of the screening process.

I'm a member of another more localized board similar to this place and I've met some ladies there for appointments

When contacting her I've let her know my handle there as a way for her to reassure her so she can look up my posts and get an idea of what I'm like before we meet

I think in my opinion it serves two purposes...one it makes the initial meeting a bit more comfortable since we have things we can talk about and the second reason is she'll know I will most likely be doing a review*...at a place she most advertises and that can't hurt

* ONLY if the session was awful and it was HER fault otherwise if it is good to great I will only review her if she wants the review(some women don't...my ATF doesn't want reviews for instance)

My first trip to Vegas last year..I thought no one would know who I am..I walked in and started to introduce myself and everyone said.."I know who you are..you are tatoogirl from TER.

So see, memebership does has its privileges.

I relish reading the input, stories and fun from some of my favorite TER folks.

i don't know if there's any celebrity to it, but it does seem to put a provider more at ease... like a secret password in the spy world.

by the way, If a provider has your TER handle, are they able to find out your real name from TER or do they just look at your reviews?

They can see only what any VIP member can see--only your reviews.
