act by yet more Muslim Fundamentalists. These are the most primitive bastards on the planet.  What the fuck is it about Allah that causes these neanderfucks to want to commit suicide and see bombs as a way to heaven. Disgusting!

actually my Smelly friend....isn't their belief that by doing this they will be rewarded in heaven by having a dozen virgins waiting for them upon their arrival?

I'm pretty sure it's something like that....so if you take a step back and look at it I guess it is kind of motivational.

(BTW I am in now way trying to make light of the horrible crime that has taken place. If anyone takes offense to my attempt at making levity here I sincerely apologize.....the people of London are in my prayers)

be well and safe everyone............

Time to nuke the entire Mid East and put this shit to rest right da f*ck now. The annihilation of a Bunch of evolutionarily retarded sand monkeys ain't gonna' ill effect the "balance" of this planet in the slightest. My apologies to the many peaceful and moderate of this region and it's beliefs. This might be a good time to effectively disassociate yourselves from your fundamentalist kin, get the f*ck out and start backing the right horse.

junior, I can appreciate your humor while maintaining sympathy for those in London. However, it is supposedly 70 (not a dozen) virgins they will receive in heaven. First ? where are they going to find 12 let alone 70 virgins. Second ? Wouldn't you rather get rewarded with 70 TER girls. It's like some comic I was watching last night said "I was in the  HS marching band, I've been in a group of 70 virgins, it's not fun at all".

So you "nuke the entire Mid East".  Every muslim in the rest of the world now becomes a terrorist because you have basically murdered their entire homeland.  You really think that will stop terrorism?  It will only increase it.  Get a clue!

Besides, it'll drive up the cost of oil to $7 zillion/barrel, and we won't be able to drive our monster trucks down the road willy-nilly.

I was thinking about this, this morning after hearing about the bombings.  It hit pretty home to me because I have quite a few friends in London, and one of these bombs hit real close to the hotel I used to live at in London.  Matter of fact, they are/were using the Hilton I used to stay at for a medical shelter today.  So I came up with a sugestion for a new punishment that should be enacted pretty quickly.  So after they get convicted of terrorism and murder, I say we beat em  until they die a slow death.....then we drag em through the streets, and let ppl piss on their dead bodies....and then I say we cut their dicks off, and shove em up their ass....so they can fuck themselves for eternity!  That outta be a bit of a deterrent....

And get us into deeper shit that we are now in. The solution to fighting terrorism is to focus our efforts on the true enemy and not go out getting into fights that can wait. If we had focused 100% on finding and killing Bin Laden and his very top cohorts and killing any that tried to fill their shoes, we would have sent out a clear message. As thing are we have emboldened every two bit terrorist in existence via our poorly thoughtout, poorly planned and poorly executed excursions into battles and efforts that we should have put off for a more appropriate day.

...and how are those Senate confirmation hearings going?

And on a practical level, even from your (how can I say this diplomatically) narrow perspectives, nuking the Middle East will leave their oil deposits contaminated and unusable.

when the fucking building you work in collapses to the ground? I hope that does not ever happen.

Perhaps we should begin another federal program to send all identified terrorists and/or sympathizers to a form of counseling. You could be the Director.

Islamic extremists make up a very small percentage of Muslims. There are good Muslims and they are just as sickened by these acts as we are.

Just as good a case could be made that the Romans borrowed much of their 'inventions' from earlier civilizations, most notably the Greeks and Phoenicians.

For example, the famous "Roman" arch is just a slightly modified arch as was previously known to the Greeks and Etruscans before the Romans came on the scene.

Moreover, the latin alphabet derived particularly from its Greek precursors, which itself was derived from the original Phoenicians. See:

http://encarta.msn.com/text_761565349___3/Alphabet.html

And of course, Carthage was the most important Phoenician city, in time controlling much of the Western Mediterranean and having colonies out in the Atlantic.

An alternative interpretation to yours is that the Romans were simply effective 'middlemen', insuring that Greek and Phoenician inventions were passed on to us.

That's why the call it the Roman arch...

...and the Roman alphabet...

...while "Greek" is reserved as a euphemism for anal sex.

LOL!
