First, let me ask the ladies, why do you flake on your clients?  Could it be that you double booked and you have to let one of the clients go?  Or is it that your girlfriend that you are sharing the room with ran over her time with her date?  The ladies always bitch about the guys standing them up but then they turn around and leave us guys with nothing to do but jerk off when they flake on us.Lol  This has only happened to me twice and those ladies were put on my DNS list FOREVER!

There's no excuse for habitual bad behavior from providers or hobbyists. I feel your pain. This just happened to me tonight too.

a little common courtesy will go a long way in this business.  There is no excuse for this behavior on the part of hobbyist or providers.  Why let someone drive a long distance and take time out of their day when you don't want to see that person.  I am always courteous and considerate when I schedule with a provider.  I call ahead of time if I am running late or unable to keep the date.

Is that right!  Keep pulling that stunt and see how long you last in this business.  Guys are not stupid. We talk to each other. You will get a reputation and calls will stop coming.

There are a few things that will make me abort an appointment with an unknown provider.  I assume we all have those red flags and lines we will not cross.  I also assume providers have things that make them feel more or less comfortable with a new client, and it will vary.   Some seem to like a lot of upfront small-talk and introduction.  Others just want to know when/where/how long/how much, and if you converse beyond those topics, they get annoyed and think you are out to waste their time.

If a provider flakes on me, I just figure she was worried about the neighborhood (and couldn't be bothered to google-map it to see the actual house), or it was too far to drive, or something happened with her ride, or I was actually texting a booking agent and not her, and/or she fell asleep, or...fuck, you know what, I DO NOT care at this point...my 'todo' list is 20+ deep, so I'll just move on to the next!!

Yes she could have, and for all the same reason mentioned as to why anyone would flake. But some just don't want to go through the hassle of explaining why they can't make it. Proper etiquette doesn't alway come into play here....It isn't right, but it is what it is

Deal with reviewed agency's and indy's and you won't have any problems.    One over slept on me twice so I gave her a much deserved spanking.     Late can be fun.

In both instances (different providers) the provider told me that she's never missed an appointment before and that she's not a flake.

The first instance, I didn't believe her.

The second instance I did believe her, I texted her at 6:10 for a 6:00 appointment and she texted back that our date wasn't until 2 days later, then crickets chirping and an apology that she made the mistake after checking the booking form.

Either way, I'm left holding my dick in my hand, disappointing. I've not rebooked with either, the second lady I would rebook with

As a hobbyist, I "flaked" on a very special provider during the holidays last winter because the route to her hotel took me over 2 hours longer because of traffic tie-ups. That's extreme and rare, but even being a half hour late leaves whoever is on the other end thinking, "wtf! Forget it!"

A well reviewed provider who comes around once or twice a month or so. Her reviews are mostly positive. I talked to her about 3 hours ahead of time telling her when I would like the appointment. Then confirmed via text about 15 minutes prior that I was on my way to her incall. Got there and texted I was there. She said she was returning from the store and needed a few minutes. I thought couldn't you have done that earlier but ok a few minutes is alright. 25 minutes later I text for an update. No response. So I text her that I am leaving in 5 minutes and I do. I see another lady and when I am done I notice the first lady sent a text about an hour after our scheduled time saying she had misplaced her phone. I don't think I buy that. Do you? Someone told me she will give preference to clients she has already seen and I think that is what happened. A repeat guy asked for my time slot and she gave it to him. I could understand that if true and if she had said that. I don't think I buy the misplaced phone though. That is their lifeline for their job. You don't just misplace your phone and if you do most providers have a second phone and they could call it to find it. Plus I had sent several texts that should have been making noise. She did say sorry but no offer to make it up to me or anything so very disappointing and suspect in my belief.

I don't know what it is lately but in 2016 I've had more flake outs then ever before.

I am not even talking about cancellations, I mean no shows or last second changes and then an attitude about it.

I don't get mad if an sp respects my time, as I try to respect them and their time, stuff happens.
However, the attitude some of them are taking lately, and I'm talking top price established providers is just crazy.

Is there a good function on ter to list this.  I don't feel right posting a zero point review, but at the same time if someone else had I wouldn't have wasted my time.

I swear it's gotten so bad that I've taken to reconfirming, I'm sure I annoy providers but I've had some absurd flameouts with highly reviewed providers.

I had a 2 hour 3 girl appointment flake out an hour prior.
Had confirmed it a week prior, and the primary got weird via text.  I had a funny feeling, but my dumb ass arranged everything made the long drive and halfway there sent a text to say on my way are all three of you all set, she cancels but pulls an attitude about it.
"I confirmed yesterday, why don't you find someone else to do this"

Honest to god, I'm sorry, I committed a huge chunk of change and time.....surreal.

I could deal with a flake if they apologize and give a somewhat plausible reason for it. An attitude however is something I will not tolerate. Those are the ladies that must be burnt out and or strictly in it for the money.

Here's what happened today and I want to know if I'm over reacting.

Had an appointment scheduled or 9am this morning.
Everything was confirmed, this is a visiting high price provider.

I had already confirmed the 9am appointment and mentioned I was driving in a ways and it would be 1 hour as I had to get on the road right after.  Everything was cordial.

At 11pm I get an email that says "I just remembered I have a call that's important, can we do 10am"

I emailed and texted back, "im sorry I have to be on the road, can we still do 9am"

She never responds.
I check my text and email first thing in the am, no response.

I text, I assume we are still on, it's a long drive, if there is an issue please let me know.

Nothing, no response.

My gut says she's going to bail, but she's very highly reviewed and has a long track record, and I've already made arrangements.  I figure I'll start heading her way, and see if she texts.

Anyway, I get there text that I've parked....nothing.
I text that I'm leaving.

Hour later I text, "that was hugely unprofessional, I don't appreciate you wasting my time, all you had too do was send me a simple text or email"

That time she responds "sent an email"
She was referring to last night.

No apology, nothing.

I honestly wouldn't be angry had she texted me, even 30 minutes before.
You claim to be a professional and have super high end rates....common courtesy is not to much to as for.

I've never stood up an appointment or been late, ever.
My problem is I treat them like I want to be treated, and so unless I actually hear back I don't assume.  I don't ever want to stand someone up because I assumed.

Anyway my rant.....

I agree that she didn't handle it well and should have been more professional. However if I lived an hour away or so I guess I wouldn't head in for the appointment if I suspected it wasn't going to happen. I would have texted or emailed her the night before as you did saying I wanted to keep my time but I need to hear back from you to confirm it otherwise I wouldn't be making the trip. She definitely needs to up her game though in communicating with potential clients. Sounds like maybe she was too busy with other clients maybe and you weren't all that high on her priority list. Happens to the best of us.

I imagine one of the main reasons that providers cancel at the last minute is due to the headspace that they're in. Many providers are college students, single mothers, and/or work full time jobs in addition to the hobby. Instead of showing up to a date stressed, aggravated, anxious, ect, it's probably just smarter to cancel instead, and offer the client a discount/extra time on another visit.

it's why they don't communicate.  A simple email or text saying that something has come up is really not hard to do.

Had a provider cancel on me  two days before date stating, family emergency. Only to have her post pics of her VIP dinner and show date on social media on the night we had booked......i guess my money wasnt good enough.........karma is funny though because now she is complaining that shes having trouble getting clients, and she is very highly reviewed.........

slow response, lack of response. I've seen it all.
it seems very few escorts truly give a shit about the business, and are only doing it for some extra spending cash.
if they handled it with some business professionalism, i imagine they'd be a whole lot wealthier.

HOWEVER, johns have the same problem with poor communication. they email an escort and then stop responding.

I wonder if any escorts approach this like a sales job, i.e. following up on a lead that has stopped responding.

Las Vegas is the worst for flaking. I have had at least one provider NCNS, cancel at the last minute and one that would refuse to reconfirm the time of the date after it had been set. Can't trust most of the LV ladies anymore because they constantly double book.

I had contacted her before I left for Las Vegas to clarify which general time frames and locations would work for her.  On one of the mornings of my trip, I texted her and we set up an outcall for that night. She asked me to text her to reconfirm a few hours before the appointment, which I did...and she did not respond. I called her and finally got through to her at the last minute, when she said that she could not make it that night. She did not offer any explanation for the cancellation or her failure to communicate, and I did not waste my time asking for one. I instead made better use of my time by texting another local provider that I had seen before and knew to be reliable from previous experience, and she showed up for a great outcall within two hours.
