Story about a young woman being exploited by boyfriend and cajoled into life of prostitution. Also, report that BP is leading prostitution site.  Fox calling for charges against BP and investigation of their practices.

...a few weeks ago. It was how BP is accomplice in crime towards underage kids. DA of some state (I can't remember) wants BP tp assume active role in verifying women's age when posting the ads, as a first step to curb crime towards underage girls.

Fox implies shutting down the service. Fox reports that BP defends its activity as free speech. Get enough political/social pressure on "human trafficking" or "under aged"prostitution and BP will cave like CL.  What's more, LEO will turn up heat so be careful.

What more can BP do? Now for the Fox story, the BF is the one responsible for exploiting the young lady in that case.

But..Lot of times these lowlife pimps post ads on behalf of these underage girls.

I personally don't think that BP should be in business of policing the website beyond something that is reasonable. And they are doing what is reasonable. The rest falls under LE's purview...

...$24 million BP produces in income to stay afloat.  They're not gonna roll over like Craigslist did.

LOL, since when? You have been misinformed. You only need to be 18 to posses an actual credit card, but can be any age to load up a pre-paid debit card.

but like Craig's List, I fear they won't.

The question is what venue will benefit by become the next virtual street corner?

Keep in mind Village Voice papers were all over the reporting on Craig's List being responsible for 'trafficking', knowing that they owned the Phoenix with the same ads and would benefit by CL's demise...
