Re: If a girl's photos are listed as being current and accurate, why is this even necessary?

I have often read a guy refer to a provider as "thick in all the right places".
I am not sure I understand 100% what that means.
Can someone enlighten me - or express this sentiment in other words?
Maybe a link/picture of a provider that is "thick in all the right places" would help.

Gracias.

Obviously, this is a personal preference thing what with beauty being in the eye of the beholder and all that.

But I doubt there are many people who write that to indicate that the lady has cankles.   Or rolls on her back.   ;-)

But you can't tell because she's proportionate. However, one Cheese burger and BAM!

My reviews says I'm thick in all the right places, others say curvy although my latest says I'm not considered curvy. So it's up for interpretation. Usually thick or curvy refers to Thighs, breast and butt. Small waist, small arms but thick where it counts. At the end of the day it's up to the person. Some people consider my fat others consider me slim so it's up to you to determine when seeing a provider.

If I were to read that about a woman, my translation of what he means would be "ella es gorda" lo siento

Why the Spanish all of a sudden? Does it mean something different if said about a Latin lady?

Doesn't gorda sound at least a little bit better than "FAT"?

It's funny there are things I have no problems saying in Spanish that I would NEVER say in English.

Take "te amo mi vida" I have said that to lots of chicas, but just try to pry the words "I love you" out of me in English. I just can't bring myself to say it, and it's almost terrifying to hear those words spoken in my direction. but in Spanish, no hay problema

For the reader's purpose, it is useful to know what it is not.

If you prefer thin or skinny or waifish, then you are not looking for thick. If you prefer BBW then thick might not be thick enough. (Some BBWs prefer to downsize themselves but many others proclaim it with pride and don't want to be downsized at all.) To my way of reading these things, athletic might be close to thick or thick might be close to athletic.

But don't be surprised when you read conflicting reviews ("not as thin as the pictures, kind of thick" and "skinnier than the pics, I prefer a little thicker"). Just use them as a guide

that depicts athletic, muscular, thin, BBW, Zaftig, skinny, heroin chic, think. Some people do well with a visual image.

Someone has attempted to do this for the face using a 1 to 10 rating system. Warming this is not for the faint of heart or squeamish. Some of the lower numbered "ladies" pictured can cause one to throw up in their mouth. The creator of this page admits that they are trying to standardize the unstandardizable.

On the S&P board.
The "build" section of TER profiles definitely could use some help.

We've bashed "build" many times. (What is the difference between thin and skinny?) I usually chime in to suggest BMI or waist-to-hip ratio as a new Profile field.

Any tech people want to take a guess at how much storage and bandwidth capacity would be needed for TER to store a single, small (less than 1 Mb? less than 100 kb?) image file? Or maybe two: one obligatory to convey build and one optional to convey face (no blurring)

I'm personally brutally honest about my body type and height, but I'm not in the business of misleading anyone.  Of course there are some who are, but...

If a lady's profile states that her photos are current and accurate, why is it necessary for TER to have example body-type as a category? If you were going to add an image to the profile, it should be the lady's own image, not some categorical average. But hosting data like that, concerning the number of profiles here, would be a pretty astronomical feat.  Just go to the gal's website/ad and decide for yourself.

And as to "thick in all the right places"? It generally means having an hourglass/pear shaped frame.

Sounds like you answered your own question?

What harm is the body image category to a lady whose pictures are accurate?

Seems like it wouldn't be an issue.

That's what I do.

The searchable parts of TER Profiles are alphanumeric only. I have some regular search strategies and build is an important aspect for me.

Once found, the URL from the profile gets me to pics and I see if the visual build matches my interpretation of the textual build. And then the reviews explain further

you can search for builds, and that's fine.  I'm not contesting that.  I'm challenging the idea that TER needs to have an example build photo on a profile.

hbyist+truth=;(  suggested having reference images (real photos? stylized silhouettes?) to guide the reviewers choice of build. I suggested including actual thumbnail pics with each Profile. Thumbnails would require server space and hardware to handle the extra storage and bandwidth.

But if TER could add thumbnails, they should come with an expiration date. "Must be updated or confirmed at least once per year or pic will be deleted." Of course, the bigger threat might be "... or pics will be kept as is!"
