How should I handle it when an escort from an agency gives me her direct # and offers to see me independently?

This has happened a few times - what’s going on here? Is it betraying the agency? If it’s a good agency, then I don’t like to undercut them, nor get the escort in trouble. But if everyone is ok with it, why not?

However, I don't think you should contact her directly while she is still at the agency.  If the agency finds out, she will be let go and if you have a good standing with the agency, that would be impacted as well.  The few times I have done this, I've waited until after the girl is no longer with that agency.

I would say to keep it to yourself and if you like the women see her without the agency. Easy as that.

Did she offer you a lower rate than the agency rate, or is she just going to keep all the money herself?

Take the number-keep your mouth shut-call her and set up an independent session.  Don't try to go cheap skate on the donation.......cut out the "Middle Man" !!    The fact that she gave you the number should tell you something..............

I've had the (mis)fortune (?) of having this phenomenon occur bur rarely am able to benefit from it.  Getting a date or a deal has been the exception if it's ever even happened. I won't say never but don't remember seeing those gals outside of the agency, unless rhey went indy.

I would caution you to tread very carefully if you have a great relationship with said agency. My ATF agency was my sole referral for over 10 years and I met ANYONE that I wanted to see based on her recommendation alone.  
That was golden for me. I appreciate her and respect her to this day ... as well as her right hand woman who shall remain nameless so as to protect her privacy.

I find it refreshing to hear someone say that. I was in the sugar scene for years, you won't believe how many sbs talk politics on a sugar date; I have no expectation of her giving up her belief for me just because I pay, I do expect some self restraint. Dafuq should you care if it's a betrayal to the agency? Not your problem. Chances are she's figured out the game and is planning to go Indie so she's gathering her clientele.  Maybe the agency finds out and bans you from seeing other girls, oh well keep it moving. Well, the agency did get their cut on the first date, a finders fee of sorts.  I think becoming a regular is a bit different.  Now I don't know what the standard behavior is for seeing a regular by booking through an agency, but I expect it is probably violated more than observed.

Somwhere else.. then I saw her ad as an independent.  I  called her and we picked up where we left off.
Despite all the time and different employers.. the agency got wind of it and wouldn't let me book with them anymore..

I had this happen once.  It worked out in the long run.  She knew things weren't going well at the agency and left a few weeks later. In fact, the agency was busted a few months after that and got lots of press.   As for me and her, I saw here many times for a few years, did several overnights (even at my home), exchanged personal phone numbers and real names.  Alas, she fell in love with another and moved on.   Unless the owner of the agency is a good friend I would keep my mouth shut.

I think that the clear right thing to do is to NOT call a girl on her direct # when she is working for an agency.  If she is working for an agency, then she should play by the agency's rules.  And if you are using an agency, then you should also play by the agency's rules.  Business Integrity.  Doing the right thing simply because it is the right thing to do.  If she wants to leave the agency, then she could do that.  If that happens, then call her.  But until then I would refrain from calling her.  Although the probability that anyone will get into "trouble" is low, it doesn't matter.  Still, avoid the potential for drama.  KARMA.
