Because I'm quite energetic, I do like the music I play during dates to feel the same. Generally it's going to be Alternative music/Post-punk revival, sometimes electronic music (Not Dubstep!). However, some much older gents tend to be apprehensive of the high paced music, and prefer slow Jazz, or even Top 40 music.
Now, does any of you have a music genre you hate hearing during appointments?

Paper Lace (sorry fans), Doodle-town Pipers (not sorry fans).  I think that about covers it.

The rest is all good

Not sure I hate any music until the time I hear it, but today had a session accompanied by Kenny G and I am still humming  the music. Yes I am old but love the atmosphere it created. Thank you JJ.

For me country, heavy metal, rap would be off limits.  Since I'm an older guy, I would much prefer some nice R&B/Soul jams from the 60's and 70's.

Classical, some country, some opera, classic rock bands, blues, jazz, you name it.

But I hate hip-hop and I don't like most contemporary pop music I hear. Since the providers I see are young, and I'm not, my music is going to irritate the provider, or the provider's music is going to irritate me.

. Country-There isn't enough money in the world.

1. Rap-There is enough money, but I'd rather not.

2. New Age- Like the genre, but "Pure Moods" do not help with impure thoughts. Enya is a lovely artist, but also a chastity belt.

3. Any song with lyrics that cast an awkward-cloud over the session. For example, "She works hard for the money" invading the atmosphere when you're both trying to pretend you're not in a strenuous ninth inning.

something is going wrong. I don't mind any type of music really, but if it is too loud and I can't hear her body talk (yes, that was an 80's Ratt reference) then I don't like it. TV background noise is an absolute No-no.

music.I am pretty diverse in my music taste but if it is a genre I don't usually listen to I can block it out.
Heavy metal music you can't really block out.
I prefer smooth jazz:)

the most amazing sex with a man with whom I'd been a number of times previously. We had the most insane chemistry- such that I've immortalized him in a secret blog. This particular time, he brought his ipod (this was before iphones), and he played his mix. At one point during our hot ride, Frank Sinatra came on, and I burst into laughter. Talk about a mood killer!! Lol!!

I typically play something pretty sensual and inoffensive (I think) during time with lovers. But my all time favorite music to fuck to, hands down, is heavy metal. I noticed it's on a lot of people's do-not-play list. But it literally turns me into a raving nympho. I discovered I have a "condition" called "melolagnia". I revel in it.

Jazz really does nothing for me. Rap doesn't either. And neither does country.

Recently a lover had created a playlist on his itunes for our time together, and one of his favorites was a band I had almost forgotten about with a female singer. When those songs came on, I realized that it was a pretty big turn-on. I'll have to create a similar playlist. Mmm... nice memory.

Check out Paroles by Alain Delon &  Dalida. A lot of her songs are sultry and great mood setters.

I usually let my provider choose whatever music she enjoys.  The only genres that I'm not really into are rap/hip hop and gospel.  Everything else is cool.

I grew up listening to bands from the '60s and '70s, but I like a wide range of genres ranging from rock & roll, country, blues, jazz, pop, classical.  I use to hate the really old stuff that my parent use to listen to when I was a kid, but today, I actually like those artists.  It's funny how ones taste in music can change over time. LOL

Two prisoners on Death Row were in adjoining cells and were slated to be executed on the same day. Before the appointed time, the warden came to the 1st mans cell and asked if he had a last request they might do for him. He answered "I'd like a steak dinner with a glass of wine, if that's possible".  The warden said it could be done. The warden then approached the 2nd prisoner and made the same offer. The 2nd prisoner said "Billy Ray Cirus is my favorite musician, and I'd like to hear Achy Breaky Heart one more time before I die". The warden said they'd arrange it for him.
The warden turned, and as he passed, the 1st prisoner said "Warden, forget the steak. Please let me go first".

music genre to listen to during a date is Quite Storm R & B from the 1980's à la Sade, Anita Baker, and Luther Vandross. On the other hand, I cringe at the thought of listening to Heavy Metal.

A sexy song is timeless. Often, the ladies half my age are the ones who request my lists.

As part of my real life job, I get to play music for people. You wouldn't believe how many teenagers come up to me and say they don't understand why they like this or that old sexy song. They often say they've already downloaded, and put them, right next to their rap music

Just don't like country, and bands that play songs that have really deep or sad lyrics kinda just kills the mood of it all. Bands like ACDC are what my dad listened to my entire life, sooo I'll pass on all that. lol.
I like rap and hip hop. Always fun, sexual with good beats. Yay! :)
