chocolate, wine, gift card. Something not too crazy price wise. What do you gals like to receive as a surprise? (I am talking about the ones that don't have a wishlist on her website). PM me if you like to keep it a secret.

This is often reserved for those ladies I have met on more than one occasion.  I will on occasion, depending on the lady and the circumstance have gifted lingerie (that I think I would enjoy seeing on her), perfume, and other small items that I think she would enjoy.

It's not too hard to find, especially on line.

It's small and so very discrete compared to flowers and boxes of candy.

You can find a large range of price points.

Except for rings, it is mostly one size fits all.

It never wears out and she will keep it forever.

I've never failed to see a look of delight on a gals face when I take it out

only because its such a common gift and many do not use it.

a lot of ladies have a "what i like" on their website...

i know its not always easy for a guy to shop for a lady, but maybe looking at her photos and noticing things she likes. certain types of lingerie.. nail polish, jewelry.. we are women, we like stuff. and if we can't find good use of it, one of our family members can. :)

super kind of you to ask.

While I'm sure she'll appreciate any token of your affection, I would suggest avoiding anything wearable-- at least until you get to know her better.

I've been given a few articles of clothing and jewelry as gifts before and, unfortunately, they're very rarely anything I would actually wear lol.  Taste is subjective and unless you're buying something specifically for the provider to wear while you're together (in which case it's more about you doing something for yourself than for her), it's pretty easy to get it wrong.

I'd stick with something like a box of high end chocolates, a themed gift basket (don't forget to make sure they're free of common allergens!), a bottle of wine, or even a gift card to a store with lots of options (like Sephora or Bloomingdale's).  Gifts like that are perfect because on the off chance that it's not something she wants, they're easily re-giftable too lol.

ETA:  I just realized that you specifically said OTHER than wine, chocolate, or gift cards lol.  Silly me.  I guess they're classic gifts because they work!  Anyway, I'll make another suggestion: books.  Most ladies list at least some of their interests in their profile, so it shouldn't be too hard to find an interesting coffee table book about something they love.

Maybe it's just because I'm a secret glutton... But I've never met a box of chocolates that I didn't like lol ;

Not to give to her, but to use yourself before showing up at her door.

I think  a nice clean, good smelling client is all the gift any woman here really wants.

My thoughts exactly. Wine, maybe. But chocolates? I've never been gifted a box of chocolates that I didn't consume. Lol

You can never go wrong with flowers, even a single rose is a lovely gesture.

Especially if she is hosting in a hotel room.  First off there is nothing less discrete than a bunch of guys coming to her room all bringing a bouquet of roses, secondly where the hell is she supposed to put them, thirdly they die and then she has to get rid of them.

Guys, use your brains and don't bring flowers to your first session with a hooker. If you HAVE to bring anything bring something small, easy to carry (for you and for her) and that won't clutter up her room

The vast majority of first date arranging is fairly matter of fact. I'm pretty sure that the best gift is that you showed up on time, cleanly shaven, showered, with the correct amount of roses in hand, and a smile on your face. Then when the session starts, occasionally, stars and sparks begin shooting off in the form of a, beyond the physical connection. That's when the idea of a gift begins running through my mind. But the vast majority of the time the first session is wham bam, thank you sir, there's the revolving door that you're not likely to come back through.

But there was this one special lady, several months ago, who went beyond the vast of majority in arranging our first date. She was charming, interesting, showed interest in me, and was thoughtful in her communication. I guess I was so used to the wham bam ladies, in appreciation of the extra time she took to reach out to me, I brought her a gift that first date. Not knowing her well enough for a big surprise, I asked her if my gift idea would be acceptable, and she agreed. It wasn't too crazy price wise, but a little on the higher end. Even though the surprise of bringing a gift was lost, an even bigger surprise came in the form of what she did with that gift. I still can't believe it. Let's just say she showed her appreciation. Of course, hers is not a revolving door, and I can't wait until the next time she gives me the zecret code to it.

I took white wine and tomatoes from my garden because she offered me wine with fresh frozen organic fruit in it the 1st time we met. Another time I to a girl chocolate covered strawberries, champagne an OJ. What lady is going to say no to that. And one other time I'm at Kmart before the date and saw paper plates with her nickname on them and gave her those. Dorky but she loved them. Just pay attention.

even to "wham bam ladies" and it's paid very nice dividends. The gift idea comes from her web site, and no, I don't give Ipads or Loubies, but I keep to items like favorite wine, candles or gift cards.

especially on a first meeting.  Maybe just an unsigned thank you card, to put in the envelope with her correct donation enclosed.  That way they can either throw it away or keep it if they like little things like that (you know how some women are with cards).  I've had a few actually say to me how impressed they were for the thought.

It never wears out and she will keep it forever.
Or until she decides to return it to a jewelry store for credit, sell it on eBay, pawn it or regift it to someone else.

(Which is fine with me, as it served its purpose better than flowers or chocolates.

It's not that I don't like chocolate, but I eat maybe one small piece a month! Lol. When I get an entire box, they always sit there on the counter and I end up eating them eventhough I don't want to...

I'm kind of an out of sight out of mind, so I keep the sugar out of sight. :)

Though some guys like to go all out. Lingerie is nice, but they would have to have their measurements on their website. I'm a computer and music nerd, and have gotten lots of gifts in those arenas after knowing the guys for a while.

I'm not much on gifts for the first date.  There have been times when I had to cancel on a lady but always managed to set up another appointment.  That is the only time have have brought a gift on the first date, kind of an apology for canceling.  But I have always found that finding something unique like a small box of gourmet cookies (Honolulu Cookie Company) is always nice.

...but it was very thoughtful in this case because we had corresponded for quite some time before meeting, and I had mentioned a very specific brand of chocolate, and also that I hardly ever drink alcohol, but when I do I like *insert my favorite brand here*. He brought me both the chocolate and a bottle of my favorite whiskey, and I couldn't have been happier because it showed he cared!

That being said, anything she may have mentioned in passing, or something similar. Perhaps a cute pair of earrings you think might look nice with her skin tone (assuming you may not have seen her face before your first date), or something seasonal i.e a scarf during the winter. Thoughtfulness is much appreciated!
