I only hobby couple times a years and today I canceled an appointment I had for tomorrow because I'm getting sick and did not want to jepordize the provider. I have been looking forward to it for about 3 weeks when I found out she would be in the area. She does not travel to my area often so it was very hard to do but think the right thing to do. I hope others do the same to keep the ladies healthy
It is the right thing to do, as you suggested. Just call the lady and let her know why you cancelled. Perhaps she can reschedule you before she leaves. Or at least by letting her know she can find another gent for your time slot and she won't think you are a flake and put you on her do not see list.
Hope you feel better, but let's not pat ourselves on the back too much. Canceling an appointment because you are sick is not a news worthy event.
I would venture to say (with 100% confidence) that at some time in your hobbying career, you went through with an appointment when you were feeling a bit under the weather (i.e. head cold, cough, slight stomach virus, etc.) All these things could have gotten the provider sick. But you wanted to get laid and pushed forward. You did not give a rats ass about the provider's well being. It's no different than providers who are slightly under the weather (I have seen this one PLENTY of times), but still see their clients. They don’t care about our well being; they wanted to get paid.
0bviously this time you couldn’t muster the strength to rally the old flag (think little head). The bottome line is that YOU were not feeling well and would not have enjoyed the appointment so you cancelled it. End of story.
Yes, we don’t want the ladies to get sick; everyone looses out. But please don’t preach to us that you are that overly concerned about the overall health of the provider. That's not the reason you cancelled the appointment so let's try and be honest with ourselves.

I've done the same 2 times in almost 6 years. Treat the ladies the way you would want to be treated.
