So after PMing for awhile, a TER gentleman finally had the opportunity to travel to my local area and we met.

Skipping over the fun "juicy details" lol, when he was getting ready to leave he mentioned he really likes following my posts on the Photo Only board.  Then he asked if I ever look at other ladies' photos.

I replied that I do, and then we started talking about what kinds of photos we like most.

He says, "Alot of girls wear those red-bottomed shoes.... those are sexy."

Me: Yes, I like alot of those shoes too.  (I then mentioned a particular lady and the hot-as-fuck stilettos she wears in some of her pics)

He really liked them too.   Then he asks, "How come you don't wear those?"

I just looked at him for a moment and then it occurred to me that, as Reese Witherspoon said in Legally Blonde, "straight men don't know designers" so he might not know.....

Me: Do you know what those shoes are?

Him: Blank look

Me: Like what designer..... brand name?

Him: Shrugs.  "No, why?"

Me: Those are Christian Louboutin heels.

Him: Another blank look

Me: That designer's shoes start at about $600.  That pair is probably about $800-900, maybe more.

His mouth dropped open for a second and then he shook his head, rolling his eyes.

I couldn't help it, his expression was just so funny I really laughed out loud.  (he's wearing an expensive watch, driving a pricey car, but of course high-end shoes are just ridiculous.... such a stereotypical male reaction that I had to laugh)

Made me wonder how many other folks who, like this guy, find those red-soled high heels alluring.... are unaware of (and likely don't care about) the designer name and associated price tag.

So.... did you know?  ;-)

xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

PS~ I know it's not the most provocative topic, but I figured we could take a break from our regularly scheduled programming of smitten clients, price complaints, and no-AA men threads.  LOL. :-P

If you could have either the best sex in the whole world, or any pair of shoes you wanted, which would you take?  Be very honest now.

I'll bet it's the shoes.

That's one of the differences between men and women.  The guys will take the sex.  In fact, I'm not sure if shoes per se even make the top 100 list of things guys really want.  I'd say they are somewhere around number 150, between a good socket wrench and old 8 track tapes of old heavy metal bands

How does one not know who the designer is behind the red soled shoes?  Just like some of the other high end designers.  A number of ladies have a Wish List on their website and it is filled with the items from them.

Personally, I don't get the allure of buying them.  Realistically, many will only wear them on carpeted surfaces to avoid scuffing them.  But if they float your boat, happy shopping.

I personally take a more practical approach when it comes to clothes, cars, etc.  Will I drop coin for certain items, of course.

I don't understand the fascination with shoes anyway.

I like bare feet.  They are lovely, sexy, and don't cost a thing.
They are fun to kiss and play with.
And perfectly safe in bed.

Those CFM's can put out an eye, so you're not bringing them to bed anyway.
At least not with this client.  :-)

All the pics I see these days is of girls wearing their high heels.
I'm not sure if that's for the guys or the gals, honestly.
It's funny that a lady showing a shot of her pretty, bare feet is about as common as a pussy with some fur on it.  LOL

Although I have a collection of shoe porn (pics of shoes that make me drool) I would honestly rather have the incredible sex.

Particularly if I could have it with one of my celebrity crushes: Jeremy Irons, Mariska Hargitay, or better yet: a threesome with them!  Yes, I have fantasized about that many, many times.  Mmmmmmmmm!

But truthfully, shoes aren't really my thing.

PURSES, however.... oh now that would be a tough call.  Because that's my drug of choice.  There are many handbags that make my pulse race and hands tremble if ever I am close enough to one to touch it.....so the thought of owning one? Oh god, the feeling really is almost orgasmic.

Chanel Caviar Jumbo Flap bag?  Oh god.... oh please....  (we're talking thousands of dollars!)

Louis Vuitton Crocodile Capucines??  Yes... oh yes.... ohmygod yes..... (easily 5-figures)

Hermes Gold & Diamond Crocodile Birkin!?!  OH my fuckinggodyesyesyesyesyes!!!!  (this is a 6-figure bag, people!!!)
Ok, that one's not a difficult decision at all: gimme gimme gimme that purse!  LMFAO!!!!

Alrighty, now I'm off to reassure my Coach bags that I really do love them.  They get so damned insecure.  ;-)

I'm not sure I like only the red bottom shoes, I didn't know what brand red bottom shoes were, and I had no idea how much they cost. I would have thought that they were around $200, but wow I was way off. I like them a lot, and I mean a lot. I'm an ass/leg man, so yeah high heels and the way they make the legs and ass look are yummy.

Personally, I have never paid over $100 for a pair of shoes, but I suspect that will change soon, the shoes I normally buy are around $80-$85, so likely they will hit the $100 mark soon.

I know you are aware, but most of us guys have no clue how much women's apparel cost, but we sure do enjoy looking at you when you wear it. I personally am really enjoying the yoga pants style, I hope that sticks around for a while, yummy.

My issue with designer shoes is the comfort level. As a guy I try a shoe on and check for comfort and then how it looks on me and what it goes with. I get it that women will sometimes endure discomfort to look good, I would only wish they endure it in silence. I have had enough of 'high heels drama' from providers that ignored my request that they bring comfortable shoes and then have a public tantrum because we have to walk a few blocks to find a cab. Its one of those things that you put up with with your wife/GF/SO, not with someone you are already paying to spend time with you!

Edit: So I don't notice them until I realize she has trouble walking.

Why a monger goes mooning over some hooker to the extent of reading her wish list with some kind of delusion of buying her a thousand dollar pair of shoes or some such nonsense in a misguided attempt to "impress her" is beyond me.

Guys, there is a very fine line between being "nice" and being delusional. Buying a woman you already pay to have sex with you expensive gifts is way over that line.

I'd pick the best sex in the world any day over shoes, handbags, etc.  It's not that I don't appreciate them, but I just don't have the lust that seems to be common for my gender.  For my shoe buying purposes, I have an additional discouragement; my feet are hard to fit, and there is no way I'd drop an obscene amount on money on ill-fitting shoes.  However, if someone can show me a shoe that has an amazing fit, I'd be willing to move to obscene spending territory.

I admit I have a weakness for pretty lingerie, though (although what's the point of that if the sex doesn't accompany it?).

Here is how folks with money think about shoes.  Nike has been a top performing stock for me this year.  it's returned about 28% from my initial investment.  More people buy Nike than this red heel designer shoe you talk about.

Second,  I noticed many of the shoes do not even have a single scuff mark on the sole.  I am somehow thinking these ladies bought the shoe and wore it to the photo shoot once only to return them to the store.  They aren't out a single penny, but get a high class photo shoot out the deal.

Oh, right!  That NEVER happens...LO

I'll hang on to old sneakers for years, and keep rocking the flip-flops almost 'till Christmas (I'm near NYC). But in my provider life, I'm sold on quality footwear. Not Loobies or any specific brand so much as shoes of exceptional quality. The first time you put a pair of those on, you REALLY notice the difference.

I had an ex-boyfriend who probably never got a new suit or a professional haircut in his entire life....but when I wore a pair of Manolo stilettos to a wedding, he noticed, and even made a comment. He was probably the least likely guy on earth to comment upon a woman's shoes. Doubters will just have to trust me on this...

But Lubies to me seem too brand-y and logo-ish with those red bottoms. Like a hoodie with a HUGE Nike logo, or those enormous, garish Chanel logo earrings (I find them garish, sorry). When I see such fixation on a brand name, something in me revolts from said brand. So I'd personally never be caught dead w/a pair of red bottoms, even though I do think they are nice shoes. But I realize I'm in the minority there.

I guess I'm semi-conscious, I can't remember the last time I read a newspaper or magazine, but I can assure you of this, I passed right over the ads section, especially the women's shoe section.

I have been informed in this thread though how much they do cost, and yikes. I'm happy that these fine women like to spend their money on these shoes though, because they look sexy in them.

As for men's shoes, I shop at kohls and I've never paid more than $85 for a pair of shoes. I don't subscribe to shoes or anything else really as a status symbol or a symbol of prestige. Those are not things I care about at all, I drive a modest vehicle, don't wear flashy clothes (or shoes), I'm a functional kind of guy. And besides, as the saying goes "you can put lipstick on a pig, and it's still a pig", and to boot I have no game (except for the hobby because I know I'm getting laid in here).

I participate in this hobby because I'd never be able to get women this good looking to suck and fuck me IRL. None of the women that I've had the fortune to spend time with would know I exist if it weren't for the arrangement. I'd have to settle for a member of the OTHFB club, and I won't be settling anymore.

So, I'm semi-conscious, but I love my life and all is good.

I was quite relieved after I reread your post, time to start drinking I suppose. lol

Oh yeah, back to shoes. I dress pretty casual, but I will confess to having a few pairs of shoes made from ostrich, crocodile and a pair of anteater boots that I suppose cost a lot more than a typical guy will spend of a pair of shoes. I haven't worn a suit or a tie in about five years though, and I bet I haven't more one more than two or three times in the last fifteen, although I still own tux, that of course hangs in the closet "just in case" and for the record it still fits me after all these years.

My ex wife had a shoe fetish too, perhaps between 100-200 pair, one of our guest room closets had a rack of her shoes, some of her clothes but predominately shoes, and of course our Master bedroom closet had 30 or 40 pair. She had different colored gym shoes, to match outfits, I have two pair, one for the treadmill and one for walking around. I couldn't tell you how much she paid for them though, we made the same amount of money and she bought her stuff and I bought mine. She couldn't comprehend why I would pay $1000 for a good set of irons (golf), and I really didn't give a damn what she spent her money on, or how much, that's her business.

Shoes are functional to me, to others they are accessories. The beauty of it all, is our differences. Life would be boring if we all thought the same way or liked the same things.

Shoes are Sexy... especially high heeled pumps. Handbags can be worn and shown off more often, and both contribute a boost to a women's confidence to see others admiring her taste in fashion.

However, I have found my love of sexy Lingerie to surpass both of those.. and interestingly enough, they can cost about the same as a pair of red bottoms. I love shopping for underwear! Its not so much for putting on display to the rest of the world so much as the way it makes me feel to slide on a perfect fitting lacy bra and matching undies. I feel even sexier to see the face of the lucky one who gets to take it off!!

I am a new provider and I am curious if Lingerie is something that even gets noticed during meetings? Im sure a guy probably wont know the difference between a Fredricks vs Cavalli but is it something that contributes to a memorable experience?
