CL has a very high probability that you will get LE or robbed or ripped off compared to a good session with a great provider.
This is not to say that great providers don't advertise on CL, but you will notice that many providers once they get past the "starting" stage and have a good rep along with some repeat clients stop using CL.

CL is not as bad as people make it out to be. Most stories are "i heard that this happened to this guy"
I use CL quite often and I've met some very nice men. Some say it's there first time seeing a provider and i'm glad that they chose me. My ads are simple and to the point and I hope that that's what is attacting them.
I don't think CL is like playing Russion Roulette, it's more people abusing the flagging, posting multiple times and pimps that want to get all the calls for their girls.
As far as I know, there are a lot of Indy's that advertise on there when they are slow.

I've found several good providers on CL. The key is to cross reference their names, websites, and phone numbers to reviews listed on TER. Be very careful using CL as LE uses it often for stings.

Not all providers have reviews on TER so that would be a problem if someone wanted to see ME or someone else.
I do have reviews on another popular website, which are posted on my website.
I know everyone wants to believe that this is the only place to find a provider, but there are at least 6 different websites including CL that I post on.
What men fail to understand is that providers have/need to advertise in numerous websites to get clients.
THAT is another thread all together.
I'd add ashleymadison.com to this list. I actually had a brief stint on Match.com as well, and I will tell you , most girls just play games on there and don't hook up even if it's legit. Basically, make you jump through a bunch of useless hoops, and either dissapear when you ask to meet.. if you can get to that point.

FYI, many of the adds on many of the boards like craigs list are by solicitors trying to trick you into joining a website, (for a date) This is how they get paid, like a finders fee.
