No problem darlin'! The puter poop will say something about "DVD+R" or "DVD-R". If it says both, you can use either type. If it only says one of the two, then get the matching media.

know about DVDs but were afraid to ask. Section
4 about computers and DVD is helpful.
Find out the type of DVD burner you have and then
just take that info to any Radio Shack, Best Buy,
etc. They should be able to help you.
I've had problems with Fujifilm 100 count paks (Lots of errors begin halfway through the burn as the disks were slightly warped (two separate batches bought a month apart) and have had ZERO problems with Sony disks, so I've tended to drift towards them now.
Realize that if you DO have a choice between usiung DVD-R media or DVD+R Media, that you should go for DVD-R media as it is compatible with many more machines than the DVD+R disks which were pushed by less manufacturers than the DVD-R standard.
