One suggestion I would make, especially for those women who are ahem "not in the best physical shape" or who are on the north end of the century mark, Please put some clothes on.

Lets face it, some women just plain look better with their clothes ON, not off. As even the women will agree about their clients, nothing is a bigger turn off than seeing endless folds of back fat, or skin that has been out in the sun for 50+ years. I know "somebody" must think it's sexy, but for the majority of us, it's just flat out disgusting.

I don't mean to hurt any feeling, and I am NOT going to name names, as that would simply be cruel, but SOME of you women really need to cover up in your photo shoots.

I look at the pictures that the escorts post and it sure seems like many of them are asking Helen Keller if they look good.

but that doesn't mean that the rest of them are "hot" I would say less than 10 of them are hot, but a couple of them a quite hot I will agree. The problem is, the WTF pics are burnt into my brain, and obscure my memory of the hot pics. Some things you just can't "unsee" lol

With some simple composition, lighting and using a room that doesn't look like a crack house, some of these ladies could improve their image. Probably would increase their business. Offer a regular with a DSLR a discount if they can't afford a pro.

speaking, I don't know why there is so much commotion about Aldo, if he is popular it is because he must be good, he must make the ladies feel comfortable.    

At the last session I had, I complimented the lady on the photos because they were a good representation of her and she then explained to me that she had made it clear to the guy that she wanted the photos to represent her.  She then told me that her friend had her photos done the same day by the same guy and by the time that lady's photos were done, with all the airbrushing and photoshopping she requested, the photos looked nothing like her.   The lady I saw said that the last thing she wants is a guy who walks in and thinks 'who the fuck is this?" but there are some ladies that don't care.  

Ultimately, it is the lady who decides what is done to the photos.  I dislike heavy makeup, because it can turn somebody who is very plain into someone who is very attractive.   Crap, half the models we see in magazines are not half as attractive as they seem.   However, in this realm I decided that I don't care, if it is the makeup that makes them look good, so what, I am not planning to get married to them.   Now, that is not to say I like being fooled, I came on the boards like a cry-baby a few months ago because some lady did not look anything like her photos, but oh well, upon further reflection, it was better than being at the airport hotel all alone that night.

If it's lighting or a bad angle, let her know.  Discreetly send a private message and say something like, "I think you're a beautiful woman, but in the photo of you ... isn't flattering."  

Now, she may respond with, "that's your opinion many like it" or "thank you I didn't realize..."

Everyone could benefit from some input from their target audience. Keep the self-expression and artistic intent, without obvious gaffes. Just makes good business sense. I find gold in client suggestions for my business, but I also have to swallow some pride at times.

Then again... don't we always say we want real, representative and accurate pics? No one looks great in every picture and each one gives us a more complete assessment of what we might expect. In short - we're better able to not call the ladies with pics we don't like - and vice versa.

I imagine it is damn difficult to have a pic a day, and always keep them new and fresh.  

As for my opinion an any individual pics... I'm stingy and critical with my "Likes". I let my vote do my talking. I hope the gals pay attention to the votes and use them to hone their "look".

As far as what is good for business, I've used all kinds of photo's over the years, and gotten plenty of feedback.  I know which outfits made me look fat, and what lighting made me look old...hell, I was once critiqued for looking "too fancy".  I just do my best to show the goods in a way that is both appealing and accurate, which has worked just fine for me - even when looking fat, old, and/or excessively fancy!

Specifically regarding today's Photo thread, there was a handful of photos that didn't appeal to me for one reason or another. For one thing, I prefer that some things be left to my imagination. But i do not think any of the photos was offensive enough to complain about in a general discussion thread. As was noted, everyone has different tastes. I believe every photo has some Likes.  

As for the bathtub photo... the two ladies looked as if they were having fun. I don't see anything offensive about such a photo.  I appreciate the ladies who make an effort to post different photos each month, rather than recycle the same 31 photos again and again. I see a lot of imagination and creativity behind many of these photos.  

No one is forced to view the daily Photo thread. If you choose to do so, it's easy to skip past photos that aren't to your liking.
