So Im looking at a providers website and I see these lovely photos of her in sexy poses and great clothes etc.  And they look great.  Then later on Im looking at a different provider and she has a 'candid photos' section.  When I see that I just get excited.  I love the candid shots.  No professional airbrushing to make her body look perfect.  You get to see the sexy little freckles sprinkled on her nose, sometimes she's being silly with a funny hat on, just getting out of the shower or just lazing on the beach.  THATS whats sexy to me.  The real girl.  The professional pics are great and I love to look at them, but the real ones are what really make me want to call a provider.  How will those freckles look when she's looking over her shoulder at me?  Wow.  So fellas and ladies.  Thoughts?

A true representation when viewed in real time. I am not out to trick a trick.

Some guys like selfies or non professional shots and others like the pro shots.

Bottom line a lady can't please the entire audience, so I suggest she does what she is most comfortable doing that is the truest representation of herself.

In addition, a hooker might also choose her images etc for the market she is targeting, which includes the way she is shot, the clothes she wears and the poses she does.

While applying your marketing campaign to the targeted consumer.

However the statement that "I am not out to trick a trick" Would not ring true when applied to your marketing campaign.

Given the fact you are marketing yourself to a specific target audience, your approach would have to change based on which genre of clients you are trying to attract. Therefor you must trick the type client whom you desire.

If my images (poses, clothing and photography style) are true to form there is no tricking anyone.

If I posed spread eagle with a giant dildo hanging out my snatch in a baby doll teddy HOWEVER in reality  nothing of the sort is available, that is tricking a trick.

Good marketing requires no lying or manipulation.

The pictures being used only express the style of marketing you wish to accomplish.

Observe the below image... Compare the image to the visuals provided in the supplied link

Can you see the differences... in real-time?

Candids don't appeal to a certain audience.

You like candids because WYSIWYG, no air brushing of flaws, etc.
Her point was that she doesn't use professional photography to hide flaws (trick a trick), she uses it because her audience prefers a polished presentation (versus big smiles in funny hats)

The trick is to get the customer to lie to themselves.

And ain't it the truth sometimes?

So do I, but the question isnt about 'marketing' really.  I was wondering do you prefer candids or professional shots and why.  If you prefer both thats great, I was just wondering.  And Marie stop making fun of my example lol.  :-D  I like funny hats and smiles!

I actually agreed with the bulk of HT's post. Perhaps HT, should use proper English versus the gutter slang, this way a discerning gentlemen will be able to understand what exactly the lady is trying to say.

tricking a trick = a marketing gimmick used to land a client

the hell with photoshopping or airbrushing the crap out of the photos.

the ladies end up looking so unrealistic that the illusion isn't real anymore.

and... please, don't pile up makeup! just a simple sensual lipstick does the job.

don't do selfies, either! they look stupid! find either a professional photographer to do your photo shoots, not your boyfriend (or girlfriend) who doesn't know the difference between F-stop and aperture.

just get photos of who you really are! if you are not comfortable with yourself, then why are you in this business in the first place?

That's just a look best left to 20 year olds.  If *I* put on a funny hat and had a big grin, I'd look stark raving mad! :)

...that even though they showed a flawless face, no one could ascertain from the pictures that it was the woman at the door. Maybe this is just a step up from blurring the face out for security purposes.

Bravo and well said!

Piled on makeup has at least three turnoff problems:
1.  It looks worse than your bare face to many (maybe most) of us.
2.  It causes touch/kiss trouble, and those are much more important than the look.
2.  It carries emotional reference to the bad ole “streetwalker clownface” convention.  Ugh.

So don’t do it for me, please, and for those others here who agree.

The provider who said she always presents herself in her best light may, indeed, do her makeup so subtly and so smudge-proof that it’s better than her nude face and delightfully kissable — but that seems to take an uncommon degree of skill and taste — even uncommon among her competitors

Thats my point.  If its so done up that it looks nothing like you then why?  I prefer to look at her pretty face just the way it was made.  :-)
